We were met by elderly Mrs. Murphy who led us up to the rooms. That was all we saw of any staff until breakfast time, when we met one of the daughters and one of the nieces. They were busy, but not too busy to stop and give us suggestions for places to visit. (Yes, Torc Falls is spectacular when... More

Our night at Murphy's Farmhouse was comfortable. The rooms are large, ensuited and provide tea in room. The breakfast was delicious and varied. This is a family run house and they are all very solicitous. The house is close to Killarney National Park and Dingle.

Lovely house, lovely people and great breakfasts! We had a lovely stay and were made to feel very welcome. The place is run by Mary and her niece. It is a real working farm but they ahve converted the main house in to a B &B. It was quiet and restful and perfect for the Ring of Kerry and Dingle

The positives: a quiet location surrounded by a beautiful landscape, plenty of parking space and an excellent range of food at breakfast which was well cooked. The negatives: the view from our room was a wall, the bed creaked and the shower was extremely small.

My husband and I enjoyed our 5 nights at the Murphy's Farmhouse. The Daughter, Mary, was so pleasant each morning and we really appreciate their genuine care about their guests and family run business. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast, comfortable room, and nice shower. This was a good, quiet and peaceful location. It was midpoint between Killarney and Dingle... More

Nice, quite little spot, an actual running farmhouse. Got off to a bit of a rocky start being curtly welcomed by our host and left to our own devices to get our things in. However everything else was fabulous. Breakfast was lovely each morning, freshly baked pastries and scones and also hot breakfasts available. It's very quite and not much... More

On arrival we were met by the owner who was brief to say the least. Our room was so close to others and without any sound-proofing it was impossible not to hear very clearly all conversations and other noises from the next rooms. There was an uneven floor in the upstairs passageway which could have been dangerous. There was no... More

The facilities are beautiful and close to good food and pubs. Since it is large and rooms are close, more like a hotel, we were able to hear the rooms next to us and also got a complaint about being able to hear us walking in our room from the people below us. We also had to use our friends... More

Good availability because there are lots of rooms (around 14). Large breakfast with different options to choose including e.g. salmon. Unfortunately our room was not properly cleaned up and there was a very disturbing noise because of the heating pump (ear plugs needed). Also we had the impression that there must have been fungizide in the room (black dots behind... More

This was our families first experience with a Bed and Breakfast hotel. I was always under the impression that Bed and Breakfasts were for couples only. We had our son with us. The owners were very friendly. Our room was adorable and had a homey feeling. The next morning when we got up, we headed for the dining area. They... More
