We loved the charming, relaxed atmosphere at the Quinta Don Jose. The staff is warm, attentive and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and inviting. The food is excellent. Tlaquepaque is "muy tranquilo" - removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown - yet close enough to conveniently visit Guadalajara's museums and other offerings. It far exceeded even the most complimentary reviews we read here on Tripadvisor. We stayed in Poolside #17. Everything - the room, the staff, the restaurant - was better than we ever expected. We would definitely stay there again - and plan to on our next trip to Guad!! more
