We have stayed at Casa de las Flores approx 5 times in the past 6 years, and now go out of our way to stay there. What we like most is the very friendly and helpful staff; it's like visiting friends. Stan, one of rhe owners, has an excellent collection of local folk art and arranged an artists' studio tour... more

We stayed in Casa De Las Flores for a few days. I can say it is the most pleasant place I had stayed. Warm and beautiful atmosphere, very well decorated with local arts, delicious well served meals, appealing hospitality and so many more and more. Staff Stan, Carlos, Alma and Rocio. all were so generous with their attention. more

Thankfully, recommended by a friend, this extra-ordinary B & B certainly surpassed all our expectations. Hidden behind a wall, lies a surprising tropical paradise, masses of beautiful plants and flowers adorn the gallery of folk-art, displayed in profusion around the whole property. The owners and staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Stan is a Chef par Excellence and treated us... more

My husband and I just returned from Mexico. Our first stop was Casa de Las Flores. We have stayed in B &B's all over the word but found few to compare with this one. From the minute we walked in we felt as if we were in another world, were overwhelmed by the hidden beauty of the gardens, the friendliness... more

This place surprised us by its beauty and service. The front door is surprisingly plain, but inside is anything but plain. There is wonderful folk art all over, all tastefully showcased. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable, and beautiful. The garden is wonderful. Though it is only a couple of blocks from the main square, it is nice and quiet. The... more

This was not our first stay at Casa de las flores. My husband and I were introduced to Stan and Jose by good friends on our first trip over to Guadalajara. Ever since then,...whenever we travel over to "mainland Mexico" ,and I know we will be in the area, I make reservations to stay at Casa de las flores. Stan... more

It's all been said by other guests, but is worth repeating. Stan has been collecting art for years and you get to enjoy it in the common areas and in your room. If that's not enough, the food is wonderful and the hospitality is delightful. I can't wait to return! Tlaquepaque is a fun place to visit for a couple... more

Everything was perfect. The host, Stan , arranged for us to hire a driver to take us to folk artists studios, and was very accommodating. The room was delightful and the owners collection of Mexican folk art decorates the entire B&B. The pineapple empanadas at breakfast were delicious. more

My daughter and I spent 3 nights at Casa de Las Flores while exploring Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque. Our host, Stan, was incredibly charming and welcoming. He went out of his way to explain what to see and do in the area, with good advice about security and health issues. Our stay was perfect because Stan and his great staff met... more

My husband and I are staying at Hotelito Casa Dionisio. We absolutely love it. It is a charming and private B&B nestled in the hills of Guanajuato, Mexico. The views are spectacular and the rooms, large, comfortable and warm. There is an elegance and charm with each room. State of the art kichen that produces a wonderful continental breakfast each... more
