Stayed here for six nights recently as we explored the area. The property is very nice and the location is easy to get to once you are use to finding your way around. The owners were very nice and very helpful. Upon arriving we had room 1 first, it is spacious and furnished nicely with a small balcony. We switched... More

This is a beautiful house in the orange groves near Gandia. Very quiet and peaceful, not somewhere if you like noise and bustle. Beautifully renovated by the owners, a charming French couple and their son. Our junior suite was perfect, big bed and a large bathroom, comfortable sitting area with satellite TV (limited English language programmes) and views over the surrounding... More

We have never used the word "perfect" in a Trip Advisor review but it is here now. La Falconera is completely and utterly perfect in every way. Where to start? The hotel is a converted farmhouse which belonged to one of Marxuquera's minor aristocracy in the past. It is located outside the village surrounded with orange groves. The access road... More

This is a truly stunning property in every way. It's honestly difficult to put into words the beauty of it all. The rooms, the pool area, the main hall area and the gardens - all amazing! And now to the service - special. Yves, Terese and their son Hugo are wonderful people, who keep a great balance between providing an... More

The area between Valencia and Alicante is understandably famous for its beaches. Yet, especially in summer you may prefer to stay at a quieter place and still have the possibility to get to a choice of beaches within 30 minutes. For this purpose (and, of course, many others), La Falconera is an excellent place. Peaceful, tastefully decorated and very comfortably... More

We stayed for 5 days from 7th july. Yves,Therese and Hugo were the perfect hosts, peaceful ,relaxing stay complimented by the superb cooking and cuisine. The Gardens are lovely and eating in the various secluded spots on an evening was atmospheric and romantic. If you are a couple who don't like your own company then La Falconera probably isn't for you .... More

We stayed here just for one night but look forward to an early return. This is a perfect hideaway, beautifully restored with oodles of charm, character and finesse. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the gardens under our own romantic awning and candlelight. Breakfast the following morning was also carefully prepared. The whole experience was an unexpected delight.

Only 4 junior suites make this a perfect family-run charming hotel. The family has tastefully renovated and decorated this large estate in the middle of orange groves You can really rest here and get away from it all, you can do nothing all day which is exactly what we did. The pool area is lovely and the gardens well kept... More

Part of me wants to shout it from the rooftops, and part of me wants to keep it to myself - La Falconera is heaven! Nestled among the orange groves of Marxuquera (it must be even more divine in the orange blossom season), it is an oasis of hospitality, charm, class, and beauty. Having renovated and designed it themselves, hosts... More

This is a magical place. Yves, Therese and Hugo are wonderful and charming yet unobtrusive hosts and the ambience they've created here is genuinely special. If you're looking for somewhere to recharge your soul, this is it! (And by the way, the food is exceptional).
