Been there twice in two years for mountain biking (yes it's me in the lycra). Perfect hub to discover the region, less than ten minutes from Gandia. Spotless accomodation, very quiet, great food and very welcoming hosts attentive to our needs. Will go back one day with (or without) the rest of the family. Alain

We visited the villa for a long weekend (3 nights in the self catering apartment) to go rock climbing in the local area. The location couldn't be better for getting outdoors, easy walking distance from walks and climbs. The apartment itself was clean and spacious (two of us in it, but easily big enough for 4 or a family) and... More

Visited from Canada to look for a property in Alicante -Gandia area, was recommended Villa Florecia by local resident. I had an excellent time, mark and Nigel were great hosts, had an appetizing breakfast and ended up eating most evening meals there as well as food and service was wonderful! Would strongly recommend staying there for anybody, have to like... More

We had an unpleasant experience. We rented as a private villa but it came with 2 men, 15 cats and 4 dogs! We had no privacy, one of the owners very nosey and controlling. I have an allergy to cats and would never have booked the accommodation if I had known about the cats. The smell of cats was in... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review some seven months after your stay. Although you say you would not have made the booking if you had been in fuller possession of certain facts, it has to be pointed out that you did not make the booking at all – it was made by your sister and for... We have just returned from our third visit to Villa Florencia as we continue our property search. The quality and warmth of the welcome and service offered by Nigel and Mark meets our needs perfectly. They are hosts who are attentive but not fussy and helpful but not pushy and provide a quality of accommodation and service that it would... More

This was our second visit to Villa Florencia, and we loved very minute. Mark and Nigel are the most convivial hosts and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and relaxed. They are attentive without being fussy, and looked after us so well, we felt thoroughly spoilt. Mark served us fabulous eve meals and it was nice... More

We were on a reccie of the Safor region with a view to buying a property. We picked the Villa Florencia for our three day trip primarily for its' excellent location. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome and the accommodation on offer. Nigel and Mark went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They were on... More

Just spent a lovely week at Villaflorencia, cannot recommend it highly enough. Mark and Nigel were the perfect hosts and we felt very well looked after in a relaxing atmosphere. It is a truly unique experience to spend time at the villa. The swimming pool was lovely, albeit a little cold. The gardens are a picture and a pleasure to... More

We had a two night stay with Mark and Nigel as a welcome respite from the noise and bustle of Alicante. We shared the apartment with our two kids, ideal for a family as we had a private entrance and secluded seating areas. The apartment is generously proportioned and very well kitted out. Around the property the views are fabulous,... More
