we have stayed at this pub a few times now, they did have an old stable attached to the pub then it was turned into a double garage , when we first visited the garage was just a room full of junk and run down, the change is just remarkable, it is now a fantastic restaurant, we had a meal... More

We ( 5 family members) have just had lunch at The White Hart in Cranleigh. Didn't even know it was there but to be fair has only been open as restaurant for a few months. Recommended by The Horseshoes as we wanted lunch and they don't do them. We had travelled down from Birmingham to visit a relative in a... More

my wifes mum and dad live in cranleigh so we stop at the white hart pub when we visit, (b&b) it used to be a dump at one time, new owners have taken over and have started renovating the place, obviously this takes time and a lot of money but they are getting there, there used to be a run... More

Yes, the rooms are dated, but comfortable and there is a sort of friendly familiarity with the décor, it is just like home used to be when we were kids! The owners are clearly making great strides, the service is very good, we also found the breakfast superb. There is to be a new restaurant added, and a building alongside... More

Ok for an overnight stay but room was very dated and no tv which is a must nowadays... Bed linen clean and bed comfy... Shower was new and powerful... Breakfast full English and reasonable... Staff all friendly and helpful... Needs work on the rooms but think this will be done in time... Overall £65 for me and partner with breakfast...... More

This B&B allows smoking in all of it's rooms - and they absolutely stink! To make matters worse, they then pump chemical air fresheners into the room to try and mask the nicotine. It was so bad that we had to open the window (blackened with mould) ,hold it open with a coat hanger and use the fan to blow... More
