Mike is a very nice host, and you will feel safe staying at his place. He keeps a really amazing place versus the price he charges for it. Good value for money. I am a backpacker and my priority is to be able to stay at a clean place with running water, secured rooms, and ample space outside to lounge... More

Evolution booked my room for me when I asked for something more economical than what they have to offer, and it turned out to be 150 pesos cheaper per night than what I was quoted, which was a nice surprise. I had the "Nanny Room," which is in the back and has some privacy, but no extra amenities. However, the... More

Hi Rebecca you are a very nice lady and thank you for your recommendation. Sorry for the "5 times" telling you not to use the private electricity from other guest. I apologize. Actually you pointed out that i should make some DEVIDER to that private guest area, i realized that after talking with you. We make an extra door/gate to... More

Mike and Diose are excellent host. They are very friendly, welcoming and caring. We love our little room just next to Mike's office where we discuss every day at the terrace looking over the beach. Diose prepared very delicious lunch and dinner for us and this is the best food we had in Philippines! The beach in front of the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. First of all, the breakfast (included) was amongst the best we've had in all SE Asia. Most of the rooms (especially the cottages) have huge rooms with comfy beds, clean, private bathroom with hot shower and a nice outdoor area. Mike is very kind and... More

The rooms are perfect for groups of backpackers that wants to stay on a nice air conditioned room that are very affordable and comfortable to stay in. The owner Mike is very accommodating he takes care of you when you're on the island. He always makes sure that people will not rip you off regarding the prices. The beach front... More

Always been planning to go to Malapascua ever since I heard about it. OH, how beautiful the place is. And just this weekend, I have officially taken it off from my bucket list. Aabana was recommended by my travel buddy who visited the Island 2 or 3 weeks ago. I don't really know what to expect upon reaching the island... More

This place is great if you're on a budget. The price is also way cheaper than some of the other places. It was about 650 peso/night for a basic fan room. I swapped to another place (will explain later) which cost 1200/night which is pretty outrageous! The room I went to was also a basic fan room which made it... More

Definitely the best value for money you Will get on Malapasqua. Pros: - their own private beach. On the end of the developed area and hardly any outside guests on the beach - spacious, new rooms with all amenities you Will need - friendly lady who takes care of the place Cons: - the roosters. We didn't have one good... More

Staying in Mike and Diose's Beach Cottages was a highlight to my visit to Malapascua. As a solo traveller on a budget I was offered a single room, very reasonably priced. The cottages are past Evolution diving on Bounty Beach, so very close to all dive shops and restaurants, however, the place is tucked away just enough to offer a... More
