The charm and tranquillity of Wai Hou Oma Lodge, keeps bringing us back. Three visits now and more to come, this is one of the North Islands best. We have stayed in lodges one and two, both facing the lake, carefully and creatively planted for privacy. Charming inside and out, with a roomy patio, great little kitchen, excellent shower and... We had 2 lovely nights here. The units and gardens are beautifully designed which we really appreciated. We used the mountain bikes to ride round the Kai Iwi lakes and walked out to the west coast beach - both good things to do. Our dinner with Ruby and Noël was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here.

Thanks very much geofrey. I enjoyed our little chats between other guests. And what you saw jumping across the lawn also had a baby. Even drier here now, the drought is still hanging on. Tho our little lake has not dried up quite. All the best Ruby More

What a wonderful place to stay! We werent so sure about the place until we met the friendly host greeting us from outside of the reception, with some extra services such as the complimentary breakfast, lending mountain bikes, the theatre and many more.
