Who knew that some cold meat (charcuterie) and salad, a simple piece of sea bass with vegetables, nice bread and a pear charlotte could be so delicious? At 11.50 Euros for two courses and 14.50 Euros for three, it was outstanding value. We arrived in Pauillac on a wet Monday in early February. It wasn't promising. but we spotted this... More

Warmly welcomed by staff. The room was basic but functional. The bathroom was ok. Both in need of some refurbishment, but reasonable value for the price. Breakfast was good and nice selection. Free wifi was a bit erratic but functional for what I needed. The situation of the hotel is lovely overlooking the marina.

A better location in Pauillac is impossible. Nice view of the large river. Someone commented that Pauillac was a bit ugly. I suppose that is true. Not much life to be had except for the street on which the hotel is located. A bit surprising. In any event, it satisfied my needs - those being to visit the lovely chateaus... More

Ok price by the room we had. Nice location, in an unpleasant city, by the way. They do not have air conditioned and a portable fan was already in the room when we got there. We did not used the breakfast(too expensive) as the Boulangerie at its side was perfect and supercheap (named Bellet).

This is a separate review to my review of the restaurant. The hotel is a prominent building on Pauillac's attractive quay. The dual 2 and 3-star rating causes confusion; as the rooms in the original building do not have air-conditioning they only get 2-stars, but the newer building at the back gets 3-stars because of the air-conditioning. As there was... More

A pleasant little hotel with friendly staff in a good location. The room was clean and located behind the building shown, overlooking the garden. There was a locked shed where we could store our bikes. The town was quite quiet, despite a small music event just down the road which drew out some of the locals. It had a seaside... More

We were a party of oenophiles recently staying at this hotel for five days. We had organised a package with most of our dinners provided by the hotel. This used to be two hotels but has been combined into one. We stayed in the rooms at the rear of the hotel which were modern and clean with comfortable double beds... More

We were a group of 11 and stayed here during our cycling tour of the Medoc. Great location overlooking the water, comfortable rooms and very good food. Service from the booking process to check-out was excellent and all the staff were extremely charming and efficient. Like all Logis hotels we have stayed in over the years, this hotel did not... Ideally located in the heart of Pauillac, facing the Gironde, the hotel offers great value for money but the rooms are very small. The welcome from the staff at reception was very warm and their spoken English excellent. Very helpful in arranging taxis/restaurants etc. The restaurant was very good and represented good value for money with interesting wines available (not... More

Booking online was all very efficient and the hotel is well situated on the Quai in Pauillac with plenty of free parking over the road. The room was clean and perfectly serviceable and breakfast was more than adequate. The cost was some €120 per night including breakfast. A good base to explore the Médoc.
