La Tonnara is a great base to explore the area.Only 30 minutes from the airport and easy to find.It's a classy hotel and a very good four star.Loads of secure parking too. La Tonnara is south of Amantea, just off the main road. It was just the right location to spend a night on our way from the Amalfi coast, via Paestum, to Sicily. The hotel is an excellent buy, at least in the off season. The rooms and the bathrooms are large and very modern; this was the first "rain forest"... more

Four of us have just spent a very enjoyable five days at the Hotel Tonnara. The rooms were excellent and the bathrooms exceptional. We found the hotel staff very helpful and they supplied transport whenever needed. We very much enjoyed our meals in the restaurant and received excellent service.
