Stayed at Erbil International hotel for a month on a business trip and my stay were the worst stay ever. Hotel is average and its only a hallow that has been given to this hotel as the five class hotel here, rooms are average like a three stars hotel, you have to beg the room service to come to your... We have stayed here a couple of times and both times the final bill was wrong after confirming the rates they wanted full rates. The only thing this place has going for it is location and the external fish restaurant which is excellent. The rest is a lottery. Service is poor at best many of the staff as standing around... Very spacious hotel, which makes it a perfect place for meetings and workshops. Bar and restaurants at the mid-first floor are relatively quiet. Red carpets and wood parquet everywhere give it a luxury side as well as relaxing one at the same time. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Bathrooms could be nicer for the price you pay. Staff were... More

Nice hotel, clean and neat, a little on the expensive side, but very comfortable rooms , nice gardens and amenities. sometimes the requests to staff get lost in translation but that's part of the game. Central location in Erbil, the Citadel is just down the road, literally around the corner is a restaurant/café street and a mall. Airport pickup and... More

This used to be the Sheraton (and the taxi drivers will insist that's what it's still called). It's on one of the inner ring roads of Erbil and only about a kilometer - an easy walk - from the citadil and main city square which is a good destination for stroll on a Friday evening when it really comes to... The room was nice. View was good. Wallpaper looked new, or well maintained. Rooms were well insulated from noise, despite the huge screen playing out in the garden at night. Good place to rest and get some work done indeed. Bathroom was clean as well with sufficient amenities. The amenities seem to change from one day to another, eg; second... More

It was very clean and the room was very nice... I loved the big window the room had.. The breakfast was excellent and the service was also good.. But it was expensive... Thats the only downside i think..

An average hotel for business. Rooms basic and reasonably clean. Large buffect breakfast and lunches. Smoke everywhere! Customer service below average. Staff not very attentive in restaurants. Poor service in gym and staff not bothered to show you around. Changing rooms dirty. Nice gardens to walk around. Outdoor swimming pool not in use (in April 2014) and tennis courts not... More

The very spacious lobby and large bedrooms made this a pleasant place to stay for a few days. The only negative aspect is the all-pervading cigarette smoke, but this is unavoidable throughout Kurdistan (perhaps the birdsong is intended as a consolation). The wi-fi worked well most of the time and the staff were friendly. Expect to have your luggage inspected... More

Ok so it isn't a brilliant hotel but at the time, it was one of the better ones in Erbil. I remember staying there the week when Obama was elected President the first time. I imagined how grand it was that I was in the Middle East, Iraq to be specific, and here was a new beginning. Hmmm That said,... More
