I really enjoyed our stay at Generations Riviera Maya! There was low occupancy while we were there, but the staff were excellent and welcoming which made for a wonderful stay. Some staff members that stood out were Luiz and Penelope! Probably the most friendly and entertaining hosts the hotel could have hired for their nightly shows..and they're also wonderful with... This hotel is brand new and definitely worth a visit. We stayed for 14 nights and were one of the first British families to be there. It's not full to compacity and some days only around 20 rooms were occupied. This really didn't bother us much as the entertainment team Penny and Luiz kept both adults and kids busy. There... More

This resort is still growing but if you are ok spending most of the time poolside, it's really pretty nice. The beach isn't anything to brag about. The view of the ocean, with the concrete blocks, really detracts from the resort overall. We had a fourth floor room with the outdoor shower. Loved the outdoor shower. We did not have... More

Our family of 4 stayed here in August. We booked a swim-up suite and were given one in the first building (18) on the corner. The corner suite is larger the the ones in the middle and include an outside shower and a larger living space. The room itself was very clean and very large, but we wished the sofa... More

We stayed in April, 2014. We got a good deal with the grand opening specials. The resort was nice. The beach was fine (there are issues with the view that are discussed in other reviews). The food was quite good. The service was fantastic. We had booked a room with a king bed and were shown to a room with... More

Generations is a new addition to the El Dorado complex that targets all ages, hence "Generations". Adults have full access to the entire complex, but under 18 are not permitted past Generations. This was a very nice all inclusive hotel. We experienced some problems, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms: We booked the 2 bedroom package. This included... More

Upon arriving to Mexico around 2:00 pm we were greeted by people in the terminal claiming to be our ride. Timeshare sellers I am certain. Outside we found our ride. After a short wait we go on the van to our resort arriving around 3:00 pm. We were greeted by Ramses. He was quite a gentleman. He took our bags... More

The resort and grounds are gorgeous. Our 3 rooms were huge and well thought out. We went with our 2 children, 16 & 20, so technically, the 20 year-old was an adult at this resort. It was one of the best hotels we have stayed at as a family with 4 of us always on a different sleep/wake up schedule.... More

We were asked if we wanted to stay here for two nights while staying at the Azul Fives. What a great change! Again I hate to say that they have a communication error because we were told we could go at anytime and our room would be ready. Unfortunately it was not. However within a half a hour it was... Everything here was great from the moment we arrived! We felt like royalty. The service was top notch. The resort is super clean and well kept. Our butler Andres was great! We got everything we asked for and more. We traveled with our 9 month old baby Annabelle and received all of the baby amenities they offered. It was great not... More
