Stayed here one night on a tour thru Madagascar recently. Our driver got lost finding the place. Gated and secure, but I wouldn't say comfortable. Our bungalow was stuffy and hadn't been aired out recently. No air conditioning made for a very hot and restless night. No safe in the rooms. Hotel staff was great and the restaurant was good.... We stopped here for lunch only and sat at one of the tables outside because of the fresh breeze. It felt like an oasis among a busy town and it was a welcome relief from a full-days drive. We spent one night in a bungalow and found it to be comfortable and clean. The dark wood interior was cozy but also gave the place a very dark feel (the lack of big windows didn't help). Also, there were no mosquito nets and the roof was far to high to hang your own. This didn't cause us much trouble... More

Only ate here for lunch, very good food. Very well maintained gardens and hotel, good example of replica traditional wooden houses in garden used as accommodation. Dance troupe performed traditional dancing. Located In heart of town so easy to walk to see sights and woodworking workshop plus Zebu horn workshop

We stopped here for lunch and it was great. It seems that all the tour drivers/guides take there guests here when driving through the area. The food was delicious. Nice place, clean, pleasant staff, and food was VERY tasty and safely prepared. This might be the only spot in town safe for a Western stomach. I ordered pork in tomato sauce and was very pleasantly surprised with how flavorful and tender it was. This was one of the few meals I legitimately really enjoyed in Madagascar.

Stayed here one night on our way back to Tana and absolutely loved it. Bungalows were very spacious with a queen-sized bed, clean medium-sized bathroom, and 'loft' area with a twin bed and access to a small deck outside. Loved all of the hand-crafted details. This was a little oasis in Ambositra and the staff were well trained to manage our special questions about what was in this dish or that. The pasta and pizza were good and the meat dishes were average. (There is only so much Zebu a person can take). We would definitely stay here, the hotel seemed quite nice.

Very artistic hotel in an artistic town, we like it very much, the pity is that we could only stay for one night. The hotel is new and beautiful, wood arts everywhere.
