What an amazing place! The lodges were beautiful with breath taking views and great facilities, always kept clean by lovely staff. The pool we used was fantastic so quiet and well kept, perfect in the heat. But mostly it’s about the animals, we managed to see all the Big 5 but for the leopard, absolutely amazing, all the game keepers... More

Stayed in a beautiful, well-appointed chalet in Phiri Camp. The only negatives were the lack of aircon and horrible double beds - rockhard and extremely uncomfortable. So do budget for extensive physiotherapy when you get home! I abandoned the main bedroom for one of the more comfortable single beds by the middle of the week... But the exquisite setting and... Recently stayed here with extended family in two chalets. Chalets are well presented and comfortable, kept clean by friendly housekeeping. Kids were happy with selection of pools etc but I did prefer the mid week quiet without the poolside music and entertainment. Had lunch at ladies bar which was adequate but gave the limited dinner menu at the restaraunt a... More

We recently spent a weekend at Mabalingwe at the Ingwe Camp. As we arrived, we had to do some acrobatics to get into the door as a Warthog female was lying at the door with her newborn piglets. We did not want to disturb her, so we had to do some lateral thinking to get it! Mabalingwe is a close... More

I just spent the last week at Mabalingwe and it must be one of the families all time best destinations. They have plenty swimming pools and cater for families. I would suggest that you stay away from their restaurant as the food is not very good. Rather take a drive into Belabela. Also the shops they have on site have... More

We spend a week at Camping at Mabalingwe caravan park. The caravan park is clean and has a courios shop which caters for most of the needs of the caravaners. The caravan park has two swimming pools, one hot and one cold, which gets a bit crowdy at times. The bathrooms are clean, however need to shower earlier to ensure... More

We spent a very peaceful week at this resort. It was great having Warthog, buffalo antelope, sqirrels and pleanty of birdlife visiting on a daily basis. Nature Reserve drives were also pleasant and we saw a lot of game at the waterhole. It's a pity the Oasis Pub is not managed well. It could be a huge attraction but when... More

Stayed at a 6 sleeper timeshare property at Ingwe camp for a week in the middle of Aug 2012 with my husband, our 3 and 5 year old kids and my 76 year old mum. Mabalingwe catered for us all. They have pensioner game drives, children's play areas, a children's menu at the restaurant and lots of swimming pools (2... More
