This is the kind of place you'd go to for a business trip. We thought we'd have a beautiful romantic getaway for two -- it was our honeymoon afterall. The rooms are immaculate (except that we had an encounter with baby rats behind our bar fridge and when we called room service they tried to persuade us to sleep with... More

close to 3 hours outside of gauteng, the journey to get there aspecially on a friday is most unpleasant. Toll road cannot handle the taffic in that direction and toll booths actually add to the congession. Also construction on the road to get to the lodge, plus narrow roads especially with trucks using the same, is not recommended for night... More

We had a fabulous stay at Protea Zebula. The staff couldn't be any friendlier, the room and spa was fabulous and the location is great - less than 3 hours drive from Jhb. They don't have big game (apart from lion and tiger cubs and 2 Cheetah in enclosures) but there are a lot of buck, wildebeest and warthogs that... More

I have recently stayed at Zebula to attend a Conference. This is one of the best game estates which I have experienced. The accommodation speaks of extreme space, luxury, clean and neatness. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and the buffet meals served were a fantastic and scrumptuous variety. There is a beautiful well kept golf course, aircraft landing... More

We had amazing service and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times and on every aspect. The food was exceptional and the dinners were amazing - definite compliments to the Chef! Our 3 Nights stay at the Waterberg lodge at the Zebula Golf Estate near Bela Bela (Warmbaths) was wonderful. The assistant manager welcomed us generously and managed our every wish efficiently. The chef cook prepared excellent dishes: wonderful to look at and wonderful to taste. Each staff member at Waterberg was friendly, helpful and efficient. The room at the lodge... More

Rooms were large and well appointed although mattress and pillows could do with replacement. There was also a noisy plumbing problem that woke us up early.
