I reserved a deluxe suite in the residence (400km away from the main building) as a surprise for my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary! Service was perfect and helped me plan nice surprises and we got a nice surprise decorated desert! Amazing!

I stayed here for the Vierdaagse event this year. The hotel is a bit out of town of Nijmegen but by car or train (train station Mook-Molenhoek is approximately 800 m away from the Hotel - so within comfortable walking distance) the city centre is pretty quick reachable - just 8 min. by train to Nijmegen Central Station. The rooms... More

While visiting the National Liberation Museum and Canadian War Cemetary, the 10 of us arrived for lunch and were treated to a spectacular array of great food and wine. Not cheap but worth every guilder in this enchanting building. Insist on a walk around!

We stayed in the residence "De Jachthoorn" for one night and had a very pleasant stay. It's a little walk (10-15 mins) to the main castle, but we were pleasantly suprised about our room, which was a little appartment. There was a small living room, kitchen and nice bathroom. The breakfast wasn't luxureous, but ok. The service was good, an... More

My wife took me here on my first trip to the Netherlands and we've been back many times, one of them to get married. We found it a really magical, quirky place with lots of history and great design. We stay in the castle itself (never stay at the rooms outside of the castle - not worth staying at the... More

DREADFUL PLACE. We recently stayed at the 'newer' Residentie rooms of this hotel for two nights and it was a horrible experience. We arrived at the main hotel building at midnight, having previously informed the staff that we would be arriving this late. We could find no one when we arrived. The front door was locked and dark. The Residente... More

We spent one night at this hotel and I was not impressed. The place is a bit run down. Our room was located in a separate building a few hundred meters from the castle. The hall way had a smell of wet towels and the room was nicely decorated but small. The bathroom was a bit old. The bath had... More

This hotel is located in the forests of Mookerheide near Nijmegen, beautiful location. Very nice building from 1902, impressive interior from that time in Jugendstil, all the details look preserved. Very nice room, we stayed in a room with a four-poster bed, big bathroom, nice decorations. The breakfast was delicious, fresh bread, eggs/bacon, fruit, juice, all was there. We went... More
