When we pulled into the driveway we were greeted by Arturo. As we wanted to check the beach and the restaurants 5 minutes away,he offered us his bikes. Arturo is an amazing host, funny, interesting. He makes you feel at home right away. The place is bright, very comfortable. Our room was upstairs with a great view on the garden, and plenty of light. This place far exceeded my expectations.  Right from the get go the host, Arturo, made my stay exceptional.  He even managed to get me a SIM card for my iPhone, which no one else had been able to do.  The room was a good size with a comfortable bed.  Breakfast was very good.

My husband and I came for a long weekend and it was the perfect relaxing get away. The place is rustic but very comfy. We loved the hot tub in the yard. There are surprisingly very good restaurants right by the hotel. Arturo was such a gracious host. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast to rest the head while you journey down the coast of Chile. Arturo, the host, is a wonderful man who personalized the stay. We were riding motorcycles down the coast and pulled in later than expected and were very tired. He helped with the bags and pointed us in the direction to good food and wine.... More

We stayed here only one night, but we wished we could stay more. We had a private room with a private bathroom even if it wasn’t inside the room. Arturo, the owner, puts you at ease immediately and takes care of you. He even offered us a barbecue along with the other guests. The hotel has only few rooms and... More

I stayed with Arturo at Los Maquis for a little over a week in April 2012 while I was in the area on a surf trip. I originally had booked for just a few days, but I ended up extending my stay because my visit there was so relaxing. Arturo is charming and takes making your stay comfortable very seriously.... This is a very pleasant little hotel with excellent service that is easy to find on the main road close to Buchupureo village center. You will be sleeping in nice comfortable beds in av very peaceful and quiet surrounding. Good food is avalablie from nearby restaurants and during the days you can walk for hours along the beach.
