We loved our 3 bedroom apartment which had great views from 2 balconies and was in a great location as it was a very easy walk straight onto the beach. The apartment was very modern with 2 bedrooms having en suite facilities. The master bedroom was upstairs with its own balcony. All the rooms were spacious and clean and we... More

Location of these apartments is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday, we stayed in the 3 bedroom penthouse apartment.Unlike previous guests reviews we found the apartment to be very roomy. The main bedroom at the top of the penthouse with balcony and great views of ocean was huge with big ensuite, large bath, shower and walk in robe, we would... More

Have stayed here upwards of 10 times over the years, usually with a 2 bedroom park view unit. They have always been comfortable with lots of space, but in obvious need of modernisation, as others have said from the furniture specifically. Recently stayed here but changed to the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom penthouse on the top floor. This was somewhat... More

I just spent a week at Sandcastles and I must say I am/was extremely disappointed. We had the "penthouse" for our family of seven. While I agre that the location is great that's where my praise ends. The "penthouse" was small, very dated (old) and poorly furnished. Half the cabinets were locked (I assume because the owners had things stored... More

Our apartment was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom one & was clean & tidy & had all that we needed to self cater. It is very close to the beach & would be ideal for family stays. The pool is also excellent & would keeps the kids amused for hours. The morning visits from the Lorikeets were also fun. The... More

Overall the accommodation was good but did lack Air Conditioning which to me should be a must. It was a very hot day and the bedrooms were like saunas, the good old fashioned ceiling fans did not cut the mustard. It is not the cheapest place to stay and for the price we felt somewhat let down, was almost like... More

I left my booking a little late for a wedding in Currumbin which left my choices very limited. I thought this was too expensive at $325 a night but as the reviews were glowing booked. Sadly we did not enjoy our stay at all. The unit we had was very old and the doors were splitting, the walls extremely marked... More

The location, very close to the Currumbin beach is great. Currumbin is very nice but directly under the flight path so there are several moments a day you get the airplane noise. The unit we were in was spacious, the beds comfortable, the shower large ( but the shower head small). This is not a hotel or motel so you get... More

These apartments are located a few metres walk from the beach. Surfing , fishing, children's playground, shops only a 600 metre walk or 3 minutes in the car. These shops included IGA, Dominos Pizza and BWS for the essentials and a few others. *Only 8 minutes to the Coolangatta airport. The apartments were a little dated and needed some maintenance... We have just returned from the Gold Coast staying at Sandcastles on Currumbin Beach. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in stunning settings. The complex is well maintained with the BBQ area highlighting the beach views. A walk out the side gate leads into park settings with the beach just beyond. The proprietors Brian and... More
