We spent Monday night at Kallora and so enjoyed the silence (except for the welcomed birds and insects). David & Kiki are very helpful and obliging hosts. The room was clean and fresh, bathroom great. It is closer to Muwillumbah for needed shopping. We opted for the delicious three course dinner meal with complimentary glass of wine. Enjoyed continental breakfast... More

This is our third visit to Kallora noting the new hosts from January 2015. Dave and Kiki were very friendly, the rooms lovely as usual. (Maybe defrost the fridge in the room though) We were there during the wet (from the cyclone) and the rain in the trees was glorious! Gardens looking lovely. The Power went out for several hours... Thanks for your feedback, it’s much appreciated. We’ll be double checking the fridges and we look forward to your next stay with us.We’re still getting our bearings, and I’m sorry you were disappointed. We’ve noted your comments about the Dinner menus. More

although all the previous reviews were about couples' relaxing retreats, I thought it worth letting you know about our weekend stay for 6 of us!... This meant we had all rooms booked and the place was 'ours' for the weekend.... Not what most people would think of doing at a B&B, but it worked well for all of us.. I... More

We stayed a while back at this gorgeous bed and breakfast out in Currumbin Valley, our room was nice and cosy and we had our own private balcony for that extra space. We had a wander through the property and later enjoyed spending sometime in the jacuzzi- nice and hot. A nice relaxing environment, breakfast was great and serving was... More

My wife and I stayed in Kallora Reteat recently, we live in Brisbane and from the minute we walked in the door we felt so relaxed and at home. Talissa is the most welcoming host and nothing is to much trouble. The cooked breakfast is as good as I have had anywhere highly recommenced. The BBQ are and spa are... More

This B & B has a splendid location high up overlooking the Currimbin Valley. Our room had a comfortable bed and a small balcony. The en-suite facilities were good. Talissa was welcoming and informed us the continental breakfast was included in the price and a cooked breakfast was available for an extra 10 dollars per person. No mention was made... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights here and absolutely loved it! It was very quiet and relaxing. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and set out nicely. The views were great and the BBQ and spa were a nice touch too. Talissa was a lovely host. We'd love to come back if we got the chance again :)

Stayed here overnight and just wish it had been for longer. Surrounds are quietly magnificent, the room was well appointed and tasteful, while the meals were cooked to perfection. Not difficult to understand why as the hostess, Talissa, was a delight to meet and did her job with friendliness, joyfulness and good humour. Most definitely recommend this place - we... More

B&B's is a very competitive market. So consumers are spoilt for choice and the accommodation needs to aim to be top class. Kallora Escape nearly makes it into the top class. We stayed 2 nights in the Jade Room and as others have said, it's a lovely room. The balcony is quite small and the view to the right is... More

My husband and I just stayed two nights at Kallora Retreat celebrating our anniversary. Talissa was a great host and her three course dinner fantastic. We also enjoyed a great breakfast each morning. It is a great base to see the stunning currumbin valley. Highlight for me was visiting the new Margaret Olley Studio recreated at Tweed Gallery in Murwillumbah.... More
