This retreat is perfect for any weather... it would be cool and breezy in summer and warm and toasty in winter with its split cycle air conditioning unit and the welcoming log fires. The nearby walking trails can be enjoyed all year round, although don't spend every waking hour outside.... This IS a retreat... a great place to just stay... More

Love this place! Was there with the kids. We love the hut and the environment. Wayne was so patience in teaching me how to set up the fire in the fire place. The beautiful Springbrook National park is only walking distance from Mouses. Only complaint is the heater, one heater unable to warmth the whole hut.

Dear CK G, Thank you for lovely review. Wonderful to have met you and your family. I know all our special Singaporean guests really enjoy our chalets, the rainforest and having use of a true wood-burning fireplace, which can make inside very warm & toasty. Just a note, all chalets also have a reverse-cycle air conditioner for both heating and... More

Do yourself a favour and stay at 'The Mouses House'. The accommodation was worth every cent paid. In fact we had come from five star accommodation to Mouses House, and this was far cleaner and more comfortable. Like home away from home, everything needed is supplied. The nearby lookouts and walks are worth a visit also. We will defiantly be... More

Last week my husband and I stayed at "The Mouses House", it was our first trip to Springbrook and we were highly excited about it. Added to the fact that it was our first night away in two years from our 3 young children (who we love very much, but needed a break!!!). We arrived at "The Mouses House" about... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for our first year wedding anniversary ( May 31st - June 1st ) ..we are absolutely so happy we did! On our anniversary night we stayed in Prince Charming...amazing! Last night we stayed in Sleeping Beauty...also amazing! Both are different and unique in there own special way. We loved the possums that visited! We... More

Very luxurious cottage with many thoughtful amenities that made our stay super comfortable! From the coffee machine and ipad, to the super comfy bed with heated blankets and spa bath. The fireplace was a big plus, and made our winter stay an unforgettable experience. Hearing the stream running right in front of the cottage was very relaxing. The Mouses House... More

This was everything we expected and more. Easy to find on Springbrook Rd with a sign warning you and then a large one so you couldn't miss it. Find out which chalet you'll be staying and and park in the allotted parking spot. You grab a trolley and load it up with your luggage and push it straight to your... More

Absolutely beautiful place. We stayed in the "Grumpy" chalet, and we couldn't of been happier. The space was large, the bedroom had an en suit spa area, there was a separate bathroom, and a second loft style room upstairs. The house was fully equipped with everything that you could need, including a coffee machine, and a BBQ on the deck. The... More

This was indeed a rather surreal experience. All the chalets are named after the seven dwarfs and other fairy tale characters. It was all rather reminiscent of the old fun park at Port Macquarie - "Fantasy Glades" except with accommodation. The chalets are set in a dark, rain forest valley. It is very pretty but overwhelmingly dark. Unfortunately the mezzanine... More

It was over Easter that my husband and I stayed at Mouses House. I have been hesitant to do a review on this property - I want it to be my little secret! We booked the property based of the reviews on TripAdvisor, as a little getaway on our Gold Coast Getaway. I was completely exhausted from work, and really... More
