Have stayed at various Gold Coast apartments over the years and our stay at Contessa was the best. Our apartment on the 17th floor was spotlessly clean (not just average holiday rental clean), had incredible views, was beautifully decorated with modern furniture and appliances. It had two very large bedrooms and two immacutely clean, modern bathrooms. The living area was large and the kitchen had lots of little extras you don't usually find in a holiday apartment. There were lovely extras like novels to read, dvds to watch etc. Contessa is set in a beautiful garden with a wonderful outdoor pool surrounded by lovely green lawn (which our 10 yo daughter never wanted to get out of). There is also an indoor heated pool for cooler days, and nice public areas. It backs onto a river and is a very short walk (2-3min) to a patrolled beach. The gorgeous shops and restaurants of Main Beach are only a 5min stroll away and there is a bus stop very close by. The staff were very friendly... more
