When Christopher Skase built this hotel over 20 years ago it was the best resort hotel in Australia.Nothing has changed and thats the problem. It is very tired, some rooms still have cathode TV's the main restaurant has shut, the Oyster bar is being renovated ,the night club has closed. But we still love it for the quality of the architecture, the location... more

This review is about the buffet restaurant. Went there for NY's Day, and had High Tea in the upper-level restaurant/bar. Left absolutely amazed; it was the most incredible High Tea I've ever had, esp. the most beautiful tea that was flower bulbs that opened when immersed in hot water, in a beautiful glass teapot, which has made us obsessed with... more

We stayed in an ocean view room at the Sheraton Gold Coast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful, on the beach and we could see the rolling waves framed by swaying palm trees - beautiful scenery. The room decor was good, no problems there - it looked recently refurbished. The room had a flat screen plasma tv,... more

The Sheraton Mirage is located at a beautiful location near the Sea World amusement park in Goldcoast. Rooms were great, pools were lovely, view of the Pacific ocean was lovely. Breakfast was great. There is a great shopping arcade and a marina next to the hotel. Absolutely memorable stay and would surely get back for more. more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in the Oasis Room to finish off our Gold Coast holiday - it was perfect! We'd spent the first 4 days of our holiday in budget accommodation because we were going to theme parks the whole time, but for the last two days we wanted to spoil ourselves - and we... more

My Mum and I stayed here for two nights. Our room was fantastic - a great view of the pool that surrounds the hotel (complete with ducks). Two double beds, a lounge and desk area and a great sized bathroom (with relaxing bath!). The hotel lobby is sensational - the view walking in is just phenomenal. And the location is... more

We stayed here for my birthday with my husband. We have stayed at the Versace accross the road previously and i wished we stayed there again. After advising them that this was for my birthday we seemed to get the worst room in the hotel! it was ancient! and there was a function right in front of our room at... more

We stayed at the Sheraton for 5 nights on 4 December 08 and were not too impressed with this hotel. We booked a Palm Room with outside garden terrace and double beds. The hotel is not 5 star and looked like a 70's or 80's decor. The bedrooms were ok and renovated 4 years ago but not too big, we... more

I spent a weekend with my wife in this resort. Since we first arrived at the hotel, entering the lobby, we had the impression to be in the late 70s - early 80s: colours, furniture and architecture were reminding that period. This impression was confirmed when we entered the room: a very large two queen beds superior room where time... more
