We recently stayed in one of these apartments for 10 days. The apartment was clean and tidy and had all the facilities we needed (kettle, iron & ironing board, toaster, fridge, tv, clean towels and bedding, hairdryer). No air con but we knew this when we booked, the bedroom had a ceiling fan and there was another fan provided which... More

I've just had a week at an apartment on the complex and the apartment itself was by far the best I stayed in in the area. It was clean and tidy and everything was brand new, with new kitchen, and bathroom, bedroom etc in fact the owner told me they had just finished refurbishing it, "so mind the wet paint"... More

Been to see Puerto sol in June 2015 must say it is now picking up, I was told by an agent that quite a few of the properties have been sold and as they pay their monthly fees the money is going to improve the site. The perimeter fence has had barbed wire above it to stop any undesirables getting... More

Went there in march 2014 the place was awful nearly empty muddy pool, closed reception etc, but have heard since that the place was being cleared out and done up, wondered if anyone has been there recently or if anyone has any info on this such a shame was once a beautiful site.

My Sister and I arrived on a second visit to the Island last week and were appalled to see the state of the complex. Reception and all units on entry were closed, run down and with broken windows.Builders skips were in place. The area was dirty and dusty. On entering the gate to the pool area our worst fears were realised... More

We booked the apartment as the photos made the complex look good, When we got there what a disaster. The main two pools were closed and only a small pool was open. The whole place looked tired, run down and passed its best and tiles in the pool area were cracked and broken. The apartment was dark and dusty as... More

As a first time visitor to the Canaries, I booked an apartment online based on photos and price. It is definitely in a great location in terms of walking distance to amenities and beach, and there is no doubt that it was cheap at €170/wk, but I wished I'd read reviews and paid a little more. The complex looked run-down... More
