Booked a 2 bedroom room but was put in a one bedroom single room. When I queried she said it was still the same price and same Amount of beds. My argument went nowhere. Room was very grubby. All the walls were dirty and there was mould on bathroom walls. Stunk of stale smoke. No fire alarm installed. Had to... More

was very disappointing, heating did not work, fridge was leaking water everywhere, light fitting fell from the ceiling and smashed glass everywhere, door rattled and shook all night, tap in bathroom did not work, people where fighting in the car park during the night, and that was just one night, sorry but no way again, not worth the money.

On the Gold Coast, it is not easy to find accommodation for 1 night only. Browns is in a convenient location, walking distance to the casino and the convention centre. It is clean but very basic. Quite an old place. The family room at the back was very quiet, thankfully. Probably a bit overpriced for what you get.

A last minute booking left me no choice but this hotel and I know why they had rooms left! It was noisy and very shabby looking compared to the photos shown! Had to buy and air freshener as the stench in the room was so overwhelming! The advertised Spa bath would not fit an adult! My 10 year old couldn't... More

Browns wasn't my first choice. As our trip fell during school holidays, even though I was booking more than a month ahead, there wasn't a lot to choose from. We booked 2 family rooms, which were basic, but the only toilet in the rooms was in the ensuite, in the double bedrooms. We were only staying overnight, so not concerned... More

Due to the last minute booking, we did not manage to book the accommodation we were planned to stay. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, My friends and I decided to stay in the Family unit with kitchenette for a night. The unit had 2 single beds and one queen size bed in the room with all the basic room... More

My husband and I stayed here on Saturday night as we wanted something cheap and close to the Casino. It was certainly both of those things but not much else. The connecting door between our room and our neighbours could have been made of tissue it was so thin. There was a group of young guys staying in and while... More

Reasonable price, great location, quite, helpful management, safe location and clean pool. I was in town for a leadership conference. The fifteen min walk to the GCC Centre was, pacific fair five min over the road. No shortage of great places to eat out if your not into preping something in the room. Tony B Altona, Melbourne

Just stayed one night, but the room had all we needed and more. Handy location in Broadbeach, away from the noise of Surfers Paradise. Highly recommend Mandala Organic Arts Cafe just down the road on the other side for a late brekky/lunch or dinner.
