I spent a night at king room with spa. it was clean and everything was alright . Single SPA, HD TV , Small kitchen and what else you need for $80 ? 3 Minute walking distance to Tram station , so you can easily reach to Surfers paradise. also there is bus stop in front of motel, so you can... More

After reading the reviews I was a little worried about staying here with my family but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating and our room was just that.... a basic room. You get what you pay for with Gold Coast accommodation and thats exactly what we got - The cheapest family room... More

The outside appearance of the hotel, not at all like the photos, reminded me of a typical rent by the hour, crackhead hotel that you see in movies.. the homeless looking man walking up the driveway with his hessian bag of empty bottles on my arrival did nothing but confirm my assumptions. The room is beyond disappointing, very aged, and... More

I feel bad that I have very few nice things to say about Browns at Broadbeach as the staff here were so friendly! This really is a budget motel, and I didn't expect much different based on the price. The rooms were quite basic and could have been much cleaner! The walls seem to be pretty thin too - I... More

Fair age on this motel and it could do with some updating. The room was big and just what we needed with a kitchenette. Bit outdated and could have done with a lick of paint. Reception was locked and you had to buzz whenever you wanted them which I found a bit odd. No offer of internet even though the... More

Booked a 2 bedroom room but was put in a one bedroom single room. When I queried she said it was still the same price and same Amount of beds. My argument went nowhere. Room was very grubby. All the walls were dirty and there was mould on bathroom walls. Stunk of stale smoke. No fire alarm installed. Had to... More

was very disappointing, heating did not work, fridge was leaking water everywhere, light fitting fell from the ceiling and smashed glass everywhere, door rattled and shook all night, tap in bathroom did not work, people where fighting in the car park during the night, and that was just one night, sorry but no way again, not worth the money.

On the Gold Coast, it is not easy to find accommodation for 1 night only. Browns is in a convenient location, walking distance to the casino and the convention centre. It is clean but very basic. Quite an old place. The family room at the back was very quiet, thankfully. Probably a bit overpriced for what you get.

A last minute booking left me no choice but this hotel and I know why they had rooms left! It was noisy and very shabby looking compared to the photos shown! Had to buy and air freshener as the stench in the room was so overwhelming! The advertised Spa bath would not fit an adult! My 10 year old couldn't... More
