Hotel Mont Fort in Nendaz is truly awful. Shabby decor. Shabby service. Terrible food. The staff could not care less about the guests. The rooms are nasty with poor quality furniture. Dirty bathrooms. Noisy too.

Good value for money: This is a cosy hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are clean and everything (télécabine, bus to Seviez, Pharmacy, bars and shops) is within walking distance. Breakfast buffet has plenty of choices and the dinner is excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel for a "Dads and Kids" ski trip with 8 Dads and 17 kids. We had 8 rooms of varying sizes so it matched our party perfectly. I had an inter-connecting room with a double bed and bunk beds. The room was fine with enough space for all. The bathroom was very cramped with a shower head... More

Rooms small and in poor condition, very cramped bathrooms, poor service (nobody on the reception desk between our arrival at 5:30pm and 11pm). There is a karaoke bar in the basement with external speakers and music played until 3:30am. We got no sleep, even with ear plugs. Although rooms are relatively cheap, you can find much better quality and service... More

I stayed at Hotel Mont-Fort for a week. It was located near shops, grocery stores, and the tourism center. It had a lot of space including a fridge and eating area. However, it did not have air conditioning and at night the outside life became very noisy. Staff was friendly and spoke English ok.

Mixed reviews from the family: It was warm and cosy, but a bit run down and, in places, unclean. But you get what you pay for. The four of us had a family room at the front which was fine, if a bit noisy on one night. That was OK as the spectacular view across the valley compensated - especially... More

Nominally a 3 star hotel, it feels more like 2 stars and the place looks a little like it needs a makeover, but the prices reflect that. For access to the 4 Vallees it is good value, has stunning views over the Rhone and is conveniently located a short walk from the gondola station and pretty much in the heart... More

Got to agree with Hoppers1964... Entrance is a bit unnerving as there is no reception on the floor with the boot room. Staff friendly, food good, restaurant excellent, breakfast filling. Downstairs bar is cool 'urban' and generally busy. The rooms are basic - and a little disappointing. Some simple/easy changes would make a huge difference - matching handles on furniture... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 week end nights, in the family room on the second floor. Two rooms with one bathroom, one with a double bed and one with two singles. Balcony with nice view. Nothing to complain about : clean, excellent location in Haute-Nendaz center, staff friendly and attentive, a well stocked library and a baby foot/billiard,reasonably... More

My friend and I visited Nendaz after chatting to a young Brit at the Ski Show at the NEC. We were promised great skiing and better value than France because Switzerland does not use the Euro, Swiss Francs being their currency. We were not disappointed. The hotel had a stylish restaurant which served exquisite food but large enough portions to... More
