Had a weeks holiday at Cruck Barn and couldn't fault the accommodation, welcome pack or facilities. We were not very lucky with the weather, so spent a bit more time than planned at the Barn, however this was not a problem! We agree with other comments that you need to remember to get essentials when you are out and about,... More

This place is perfect. An unforgettable long weekend at Cruck Cottage. A fantastic location, isolated and quiet. A very warm welcome, a spotless cottage and even home made cake and fresh berries from the garden. If you're looking for somewhere to charge the batteries you've just found it.

Stayed at Cruck Barn this week, the welcome food package was just right. Gorgeous carrot cake, apple juice, milk, eggs and more. The cottage itself is surrounded by beautiful countryside and inside is spotlessly clean accommodation with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

It's been a while since we stayed here, but I always promised to write a review, as this place was amazing. From the homemade welcome basket to the log burner to the mezzanine bedroom, it is pristine, yet homely and of superb quality. I proposed to my now fiancée at the top of Mam Tor, whilst staying in the Peak... More

My husband and I stayed at Cruck Barn last weekend for a wedding in Sheffield, and it was one of the nicest self catering places we've ever stayed at. The decor is really stylish - a mix of modern and traditional, making it appealingly eclectic, comfortable and contemporary (you may be able to tell I'm picky!). It's actually even better... More

This cottage is truly beautiful. As others have previously said, we stayed for four nights, but it was not long enough in this amazing place. It is situated surrounded by stunning, rolling hills with beautiful views. Inside the cottage has been wonderfully renovated and oozes quality and comfort. We enjoyed total privacy, a brilliant welcome pack and many extras. We... More

You won't be disappointed with this cottage; it is actually how it is described in the marketing material. Really 5*. Beautifully appointed, great location, with lovely countryside and villages around. You won't be short of things to do but I would recommend just some chilling time in the cottage as it is so lovely. It is quite isolated so don't... More
