We stayed for a four night break. There's really not much more to add from previous reviews. The Welcome was great, the owner lives next door and showed us in, said we could knock and ask if we needed anything but then left us with totally privacy. Good to know they're there if you need them but not snooping or... More

We stayed in October to celebrate a birthday. This place is the nicest self catering accommodation I've seen. The place is superb and extremely well equipped. The care and thought that's gone into the cottage is obvious. We were greeted with an assortment of treats when you arrive (homemade jam, eggs, juice, cake etc) and the place has a real... More

This barn version is top quality with the cruck beams a prominent 'show piece' within the building. Very high quality fixtures and fittings and an excellent touch of luxury for two. Love the wood burning stove and the mezzanine bedroom. Kitchen also highly equipped and the welcome basket with home made carrot cake is worth the visit alone. Can't praise... More

Had a weeks holiday at Cruck Barn and couldn't fault the accommodation, welcome pack or facilities. We were not very lucky with the weather, so spent a bit more time than planned at the Barn, however this was not a problem! We agree with other comments that you need to remember to get essentials when you are out and about,... More

This place is perfect. An unforgettable long weekend at Cruck Cottage. A fantastic location, isolated and quiet. A very warm welcome, a spotless cottage and even home made cake and fresh berries from the garden. If you're looking for somewhere to charge the batteries you've just found it.

Stayed at Cruck Barn this week, the welcome food package was just right. Gorgeous carrot cake, apple juice, milk, eggs and more. The cottage itself is surrounded by beautiful countryside and inside is spotlessly clean accommodation with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

It's been a while since we stayed here, but I always promised to write a review, as this place was amazing. From the homemade welcome basket to the log burner to the mezzanine bedroom, it is pristine, yet homely and of superb quality. I proposed to my now fiancée at the top of Mam Tor, whilst staying in the Peak... More

My husband and I stayed at Cruck Barn last weekend for a wedding in Sheffield, and it was one of the nicest self catering places we've ever stayed at. The decor is really stylish - a mix of modern and traditional, making it appealingly eclectic, comfortable and contemporary (you may be able to tell I'm picky!). It's actually even better... More

This cottage is truly beautiful. As others have previously said, we stayed for four nights, but it was not long enough in this amazing place. It is situated surrounded by stunning, rolling hills with beautiful views. Inside the cottage has been wonderfully renovated and oozes quality and comfort. We enjoyed total privacy, a brilliant welcome pack and many extras. We... More
