We stayed for one night as a stopover between Blenheim and Dunedin. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable. The balcony had room for a table and two chairs and provided a welcome spot to sup a glass of Sauv Blanc in the evening sun.

Please my dear travellers, stay away from this property. They misrepresented the property online by stating that the room comes with kitchen facilities and ironing board (see pictures for yourself) and with the wifi. The rooms are filthy, the furniture is run down and facilities are simply disgusting. You can't speak to any of their staff as they don't understand... More

Front desk manned by Asian man who spoke poor English and was unable to recommend anywhere to eat (or understand the question). There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, my telephone and clock/radio did not work at all. When I went to reception at 8.50pm it was deserted and locked - I used the outside telephone to call... More

This was the dirtiest motel I have ever stayed in. Lumps of mould along the window sills in the bedroom and mould all over the shower and bathroom. Old towels and fluoro lights did nothing to enhance the unit. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

We found the unit we were allocated to be dirty and noisy. There was a large area of a dried sticky, yellow substance on the bathroom rubbish bin, gunge around the vanity taps and mould in the shower. The enormous soap dispenser attached to the tiny bathroom mirror was ridiculous and made using the sink difficult. The condensation was very... More

Our family of 4 stayed at the Lilybrook for 8 nights while visiting family in Rangiora. We were very happy with our large suite, which included a separate master bedroom, 2 single beds for the kids in the living area, and well-appointed kitchen and bathroom, and a large private patio at the back. The suite was clean and well-maintained, and... More

Room very clean and tidy. We all love a nice shower and more space in the lounge. 50 Chanel Sky TV had made our long day relaxed. My daughter very pleased to Free Wifi 500 MB and we had dinner at the Shopping Mall only 50 meters across. Wonderful 20 Minutes drive from Christchurch. Owner very helpful and staff are... More

Just arrived and saw this place, had not booked, the manager was fantastic and even moved out off his unit to accommodate us as they were full. The staff were very nice, the unit was clean and tidy. Fabulous fluffy towels. Will go there again
