My Aunt and I stayed for three nights in early August and originally booked a twin room. Upon arrival I found Toni had upgraded us to a Queen room each as we were the only guests during the quiet end of the week. The wonderful service started at the door! Toni was a wonderful host who made us feel very... More

We stayed at Lake Coleridge Lodge in March of 2014 while traveling through New Zealand. The lodge is a historic building that housed the people who constructed the hydro-electric scheme that runs from the lake above to the river below. Toni welcomed us when we arrived that evening and suggested we head right up the hill to catch the sunset... More

We stayed just one night with our two young children (1 &3) the service Toni gave us was second to none! Our dinner which she served at an earlier time to accommodate the kids was gorgeous! Our rooms were immaculate and comfortable. There is a pot-a-cot available which was a great help, as well as a toy box for the... More

We stayed at Lake Coleridge Lodge in April 2014 for a week to have a rest in a peaceful environment after a challenging year. We organised a bed and dinner with self catering for breakfast and lunch - there is a guest kitchen. We stayed in the outside cabin, which has an ensuite and the most amazing views out to... More

This IS a Lodge. Your bedroom is exactly that! We had an ensuite room which although small was very clean and comfortable. We had continuous tea and coffee available and comfortable lounge with TV where we met fellow guests. The meal was a lovely home cooked dinner cooked by Toni who with her partner owns and runs the Lodge. There... More

It was our first time to Lake Coleridge and we loved the quiet remote feeling and staying virtually on top of an old power station. The lodge has great history and interesting old photos on the walls. We (two couples) were the only guests, until a French tramper arrived and pitched his tent on the lawn. We were all extremely... My husband and I had a wonderful 2 nights at Lake Coleridge Lodge. It was peaceful, relaxing and a perfect tonic. The quiet, beautiful surroundings would be hard to beat and there is plenty to do. The hosts, Toni and Dean, are the friendliest couple. They are both knowledgeable and attentive to every wish. The breakfasts: fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast,... More

We have stayed at Lake Coleridge Lodge for a week with two small children, and we had one of the best winter holidays ever, mostly we think due to our fortunate choice of accomodation. The hosts (Toni and Dean) looked after us extremely well. The lodge was clean, warm and quiet, our rooms tidied daily. The Lodge is an old... More

We were looking for a peaceful accommodation to rest and clear up the jet lag after long flights from Finland.
