Our sports team found the Heritage Hotel to be good value for money. The refurbished rooms were of good size with an ensuite and comfortable beds. The men had good hearty breakfasts before their full day of South Island Woodchopping Championships. We had our team dinner in the dining room which is in keeping with the style of the hotel.... The Heritage restaurant is certainly looking a bit dated and tired. However they pitch themselves in the middle of the market and do honest large portioned pub grub which was very good on the day we went (New Years Day). If you just want a good feed at a reasonable cost and don't expect fine dining then Heritage is OK.... More

Very welcoming, attentive staff who offered prompt service throughout. There was minimal wait time on food orders. Great portion sizes, and quality food. The Heritage definitely offers value for money. I would not hesitate in returning. I will be sure to tell one and all about this little gem in Geraldine.

We used to come here a bit when it was the stone grill and even after that but this place has gone way down hill unfortunately! It was dingy and depressing and very dated. Even the way the napkins are folded into crowns is so old fashioned. We ordered some wedges with no sour cream - the wedges were COVERED... More

We arrived in Geraldine at 8pm on way from Wanaka to Christchurch. Greeted by friendly lady behind bar. Good quality well priced pub meal. If you are looking for a slap up meal, this isn't the place to go to, but if you are looking for a good value meal with no frills I would recommend.

Good value, generous serving, fresh, good selection on the menu, friendly and hospitable staff, what more do you need? Basically genuine kiwi tucker in heritage surroundings. Food was served quickly. Give it a go, we were certainly happy that we did.

Two of our truck drivers stayed and were extremely happy with the service, the meals and the bed was really comfortable. Want to use this as a regular stop when travelling to and from Christchurch. Heritage Hotel has ticked all the boxes.
