We stayed here after a day of rafting at Rangitata Rafts. That being said, we were pretty low key while we were there. We arrived later in the afternoon and left early in the morning to continue our journey. The room was large, clean and comfortable, with plenty of charming details. Breakfast the next morning was delicious (though we could... More

Saw this on our way to Twizel and booked a night for our return trip to Christchurch. It is a lovely home and the owner is a warm and very hospitable lady. Guests have lovely rooms and the use of a well appointed lounge. Meals in nearby Geraldine, 500m, or last minute last resort hot food from the dairy nearby.... More

We spent a relaxing night at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. A prompt and gracious welcome was lovely, as was the special addition of decaffeinated teas for me at my husband's request. Sharon had decorated the historic home with beautiful antiques and small touches. There were only two things that could have brought this accomodation from wonderful to really outstanding.... More

We stayed here one night en route back to Christchurch. Quaint, oldie-woldie style B&B with lots of character and charm. Amenable host with local knowledge. Delicious onion and black currant jelly for breaky.

We spent one night in the Tui Room at Victoria Villa during our three week driving tour of the SI of NZ. We found the B&B inviting and friendly. Our room was equipped with a comfortable queen bed and electric fireplace which kept us sufficiently warm on a very cold winter's evening. The room has a large bathroom, with good... More

After a change of plans, due to the earthquake, we made Geraldine our first stop on our holiday and it was just lovely. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. We started our morning with a wonderful home style full breakfast and very tasty home made jams, just the start to a cold day. Cosy, warm and... More

The perfect end to a long day's driving. After having a flight cancelled out of Queenstown, we had to drive to Christchurch to fly out the next day. A stop at the Victoria Villa in Geraldine was perfect. The room was spacious and warm and the hosts friendly without being intrusive. The breakfast in the morning was big and delicious... More

Geraldine is a good option for a sleep over, when driving from Queenstown to CHCH. And Victoria Villa is a GREAT option for the B&B service, providing nice and comfortable room, clean & tidy, and also with their hospitality. You will enjoy having breakfast in the morning with their host :)

Victoria Villa is a well-run B&B on the outskirts of the small town of Geraldine and makes a good overnight stop en route to Queenstown. The pretty Victorian villa has a sunny terrace out front and the clean, homely rooms have their own spotless shower rooms. A short walk through the park takes you into town where, much to our... We stayed for 1 night as we drove through Gerladine on our way back to Christchurch airport. Excellent accommodation. It has character with an old charm and feel. Very good hospitality we were made to feel very welcome. Clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Quiet town well worth a stay, excellent restuarant recommended by hosts. Would have no hesitation in recommending... More
