My husband and I, as well as another couple, had the pleasure of staying at Mi Solar during Semana Santa while we visted the folkart market in Uruapan. What a great gem..rooms all redone..breakfast (all sorts of choices) included..4-5 english TV stations..staff friendly..great place for dinner around corner in Park Hotel second floor..one of better meals had on trip to Tonala and Valle de Bravo more

I just spent part of Semana Santa at the Hotel Mi Solar. It is very centrally located to the Plaza de Ranitas and Zocalo, both which have major functions during Semana Santa. This was our second visit to Uruapan but first at this property, The hotel is in the center of it all and a short walk to Parque Nacional.
