We stay here with a friend in two different rooms. They picked us up from the airport in the very nice VAN with AC. The rooms were clean and were as good as we expected. The personnel that works there is very kind and very helpful with any question you've got. The restaurant was not available as they promise. I... More

It's a well located hotel (a couple of blocks of Tarapoto's Main Square) and near of local shops such as grosseries, drugstores, restaurants, etc. Rooms with air conditioning are available, pool and breakfast included. The only think I didn't like was the air conditioning. I found that the one of my room was not clean at all, That's the only... More

Terapoto can be a muggy place and this hotel will turn off the AC when you are not there. This means a room can be very uncomfortable when you arrive or after you return in the evening. They are also very careful in handing out towels, almost stingy. On a positive note the staff is helpful (but doesn't speak English).

We spent two nights in room 209, with the air conditioner blasting against the intense heat of the Amazon. After the first few hours, the room cooled down nicely. The people in this hotel were genuinely friendly and helpful, despite the fact that our Spanish is very limited. The airport transportation is a great benefit, breakfast is a nice buffet... More

The first couple days the stay was ok. 3rd day the staff decided we used too much hot water and entirely cut it off. one employee claimes the city had no water while another said their boiler broke. if you want a hot shower for more than 1 person this is not the place to go. Their pool never gets... More

Centrally-located, clean, quiet, safe hotel with the luxuries of air conditioning and hot water. The beds are comfortable. The windows are double-glazed to keep out the street noise. The complementary breakfast is ok. The staff are friendly and helpful and were always happy to provide assistance, including free airport transfers and free luggage storage while I went off adventuring.

We had a triple room and it was fine , although the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen . Our room was in the back of the hotel on the 4th floor and we had no noise from the busy street where it's located so ask for a room away from the street. From the hotel, it was... More

We spent a couple of nights in Tarapoto at the RioSol. One of the best points about the hotel is a staff member named Willy who picked us up at the airport and was very friendly and helpful during our stay. When we arrived in early afternoon our room wasn't quite ready so they served us a delicious fresh grape... More

We had to stay here after another hotel messed up our reservation. To RioSol's defense they stepped up and found two rooms for the 5 of us. The location is a couple blocks from the central plaza, and the staff is very friendly. However the rooms are not the best. The bathrooms are so small that I barely fit into... More

I travel thru Tarapoto on business fairly often and have been looking for a clean, centrally located hotel with good car service to and from the airport. This is it! Very clean, ok service, a small restaurant and rooms that are small but fine (and everything works). One disadvantage is that there is no elevator so if you have trouble... More
