the room - very small, we had a 'superior' for 2 adults and a child, felt more like small double. small bathroom. no a proper aircon just a 'fan' with cold air, very noisy and keep breaking down. very clean breakfast - poor, I survived on jam and toast and occasionally fried egg, they keep running out of everything even... Quiet little village and not much to do in the neighbourhood. The Hotel itself is mostly suited for elderly or cocooning couples. Everything closes around midnight and after this very quiet and dark. +Beautiful bay area +Great pool area with comfy sunbeds. +Clean property incl rooms -Sunbeds at beach 50m below Hotel at additional charge though for some reason... -Beds... First time in Croatia, hotel, staff and service excellent. Area at the moment not too developed, prices extremely good although a large hotel being/built in adjacent Srebrena which could change that. Locals extremely friendly, expecially in bars/restaurants. Recommend Marinero, Laterna restaurants and the Gosar bar. All in all a very good holiday.

relaxing hotel. Very clean. Room little small but very adequate (no fridge, disappointing) Indoor pool excellent and hardly used during our star in early June. Outdoor pool lovely, little chilly although claimed heated! Food ok and buffet style. Went down to beach bar/restaurant occasionally, food lovely and staff friendly. Wi Fi excellent and free.

Just spend a week in this hotel. Very clean, cosy - not too luxurious - all amenities were worth every penny. A week is enough in this small village so I highly recommend to visit Dubrovnik and islands nearby Mlini. For teenager this place was totally boring, thanks to high speed wifi, everything went well...

1. The hotel was very well furnished and it was very clean. The reception staff were extremely helpful and they were quite sensitive to provide what we wanted. The food selection, quality and display were superlative and there were enough staff to cater for the needs of the sizeable crowd who were there during the 4 days we stayed. The... More

We booked this trip last minute with Jet2 holidays and had a fantastic week. The hotel is set in its own private bay down from the main road and was a great spot for the two of us and a 4 year old. Pool area was large and safe with a lovely beach bar with fantastic friendly staff. Food was... More

Large hotel, room very small but clean and adequate. Food OK, but catering for lots of people meant it was canteen food. Nice pool, beach and town small, but an easy walk. If you wanted to go into Dubrovnik you had to climb a very steep slope up from the hotel to the road to catch the bus!! We really... More

Make sure when you book you know where you'll be staying. We booked a week in what we thought was the Astarea Hotel, but it wasn't until the confirmation came through that we found we were in the annex. The annex building is very tired looking, (1960's secondary school springs to mind!), the room was spotlessly clean and we had... More
