Mlini is an excellent base for Dubrovnik and surrounding island trips and the hotel's location is fantastic. We thought we would be staying in the annex but were pleased when we were given a room in the main building. This was a lovely modern triple room with a good bathroom. The two pools are lovely, on two occasions I had... More

Great location by the sea in Mlini. We stayed in Astarea 2 which really needs updating. Unfortunately our room smelled of mould which was evident in the corner of the room also the wood panelling above the curtains had become detached leaving plain chipboard on view and the trim on the table was loose and hanging free. On the plus... More

This hotels location is easily it's strong point. Mlini itself is very nice. You can walk along the sea to Srebrano going past a choice of around 10 restaurants in total. There is a large supermarket in Srebrano (20 minute walk from the hotel). There is also a water polo arena where there were games on most nights and these... More

We spent a week at the Astarea in Mlini. The location is absolutely beautiful. Clear blue water beaches, amazing weather. The hotel is clean and the rooms were very comfortable. We couldn't fault the housekeeping, the rooms were spotless every day, fresh towels and bedlinen were always available. The air-conditioning in the room was really good and definitely needed in... Nice place, perfect location, room with a wonderful sea view, swimming pools, beach, restaurant, nothing is missing. It's a hotel that has developed its role as a group hotel and this is not a very positive side...breakfast is over crowded and there is not so much choice in food but this doesn't compromise the general positive impression you can get.... Just back from Mlini and two weeks in the Asterea. Lovely resort. The hotel and staff were great and the indoor saltwater pool is fantastic. The new outdoor pool is also very nice. We had a lovely room with fabulous views - we thought we would be in the annexe but we were put in the main hotel which was... More

Having remembered as a teenager people visiting Yugoslavia and loving it, we decided to book a 6 night break half board in the Astarea hotel, Mlini beach. We loved it, the staff were friendly the rooms clean and comfortable, the food selection was good with plenty of choice. The hotel location was ideal to visit other beaches and islands by... More

We enjoyed our stay in this quite large hotel. It has a very good shuttle bus to Dubrovnik. Staff friendly food average. I think a week is long enough. Be careful with the steps outside very sharp edges. The best thing by far is the indoor pool with decking outside.

We have just returned from a week's holiday in this most perfect holiday destination. We stayed in a villa in the grounds of the Hotel Astarea. The villa had idyllic views, was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the air-conditioning was brilliant! The Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. The pool area was well-eqipped with plenty of sun beds... More
