Where to begin...the location of this cute, 9-room boutique hotel is the best in the area. The rooms were clean and spacious, service was excellent as was the breakfast consisting of homemade jams, bread, yogurt, local granola and eggs. If this isn't enough, the pool overlooks a cliff with an impressive view. There are steps that lead to the a... More

Both the staff and location are unbeatable. I can't say enough about how nice and accommodating everyone was. Simply a marvelous experience (last 2 nights of our honeymoon). I'd recommend it in a heartbeat! The beach is a bit of a walk down some steep stairs.

This is a real gem in a lovely mexican town. The stuff, from Mrs Anne to Chuy, is so nice, helpful and friendly that is a pleasure to see their smile during the day. The hotel is the best you can find, from the spacious rooms with a huge terrace overlooking the sea and equipped with hammocks and chairs, to... More

Yes. I saw Pan de Miel int he internet and decided (with my girlfriend) to go there. Seascape is wonderful (almost painful), I had slept on beach level rooms last few times but I enjoyed a lot this view from the top of the hill and we met some incredible oaxacan girls and boys in charge of every little thing.

My wife and I travel the world in hopes of finding places like Casa Pan de Miel. Hotels that so authentically blend rustic charm with dreamy tropical ocean views from infinity pools are few and far between. Add the super-friendly French owner, her gracious staff, tasty food wonderfully presented, air-conditioned rooms at reasonable prices....that's why we came for three days,... More

Not a boutique or a luxury small hotel. It's just like home in front of the sea, including family living there! Everyone is so ready to help, breakfast is "maison d'hôtes" French style and you can just come and go to the town in 10 minutes. Bring flip flops, a book and enjoy! Perfect!

We loved this oasis! It was everything we were looking for: private, calm, quiet, small (we aren't big resort people), and extremely friendly. The staff is amazingly helpful and ready to make your stay the best it can be. The location is perfect. Yes there are a lot of steps to the beach, but it's worth it! We very much... More

Everything about Casa Pan de Miel was wonderful, from the warm infinity pool with the incredible view to the delicious and healthy breakfasts. Service was excellent, everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Our trip was a family visit to see our son who was living in Mexico. We stayed in the apartment with an outdoor kitchen and...
