A quaint village inn staying for one night only as working in the area. Staff very efficient and friendly, room adequate but took a while to get used to the sloping floor. Bathroom and bedroom both dusty and required a clean, plenty complimentary tea/coffee available. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, food freshly prepared and cooked to order,... More

stayed there one night a few days ago. This Inn has a historic feel, floors and ceilings are not straight (the wooden beams have moved during the centuries). The view from our window was stunning, looking towards a magnificent church and ancient cemetery with those traditional very very old tombstones. Winchelsea is definitely worth a visit! However we found the... More

We stayed at New Inn for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is a fantastic inn; staff are both friendly and professional and absolutely no request is too much trouble. The suite was large with the most comfortable bed ever! Coffee-making facilities were second to none with a Nespresso machine. The en suite bathroom is modern with a... More

We stayed here overnight and the room was comfortable with a sofa for tv watching. Quaint view over the local church and church yard. Ate in the restaurant, meal very good I had fish and it was very tasty. I cannot eat gluten so was pleasantly surprised when I was told the gf choices. They even had a gf bun... More

We stayed for two nights and found the room comfortable and cosy. The full English breakfast was exceptional. Staff were okay but we found fruit juice only appeared after being offered on first day of the stay. Second day we did not have it offered at all. Evening meals on offer lacked reasonable of selections and prices somewhat over the... More

We stayed here in the "Grand Deluxe En Suite" room for two nights at a special promotional rate. The room was very comfortable with a charming view over the churchyard opposite. The in-room coffee machine was, like, totally cool! We ate here both nights and the food, although just standard pub fare menu stuff, was top quality. Great service, too.

Was really excited about staying in this old Inn. However for the 5 days we stayed here the cleaner never came near our room to clean or change the bedding. We had to ask for clean towels every day and top ups for our tea and coffee in the room. At £100 for the room per night bed and breakfast... More

This was our first experience with a B&B and must say that is was superb! A great accommodation with nice people, the rooms was not very big but had everything that was needed. The breakfast and diner were very well prepared and tasted good (even gluten free).

My husband and stayed at the New Inn for two nights at the end August for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We were realistic in our expectations and so in exchange for the lovely church view, good size room and friendly staff we turned a blind eye to the wobbly toilet seat, bathroom mould and missing bulb/cover from the emergency fire... We stayed two nights this week and enjoyed our stay however for an inn that charges in excess of 100 pounds a night there were a couple of things that annoyed us.Whilst the beds were nice and clean with crisp linen the bed was a little on the small size and had a wobbly headboard. We also moved the settee... More
