We weren't sure what to expect on this 2 night Travelzoo deal, but found a lovely clean and warm room. Easy to park. Friendly staff although rather understaffed. We ate there on our first evening but the food not really to our taste. Not much choice for vegetarians and my 'grilled haloumi' came deep fried which was not very nice.... More

Just spent 2 nights here with my partner. Lovely place, room was warm, clean and had a great wet room. We ate there both nights which was very nice and reasonable. Very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone 😊 just a short drive from Rye which is a lovely town

Immediately after speaking to Toby we knew we wanted to have our reception here. He was very welcoming and extremely helpful. This didn't change once we had made our decision either he was always in contact with us helping with the table layouts and was always available to speak to if we needed. He was very flexible with the menu... More

We stayed at The Lodge following at family wedding in Rye. We didn't have very long at the hotel, but the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room [a family room] was large and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was a bit dear, but continental was included in the price. Rye is a short drive away as it the... More

All very helpful and friendly. Nice tea/coffee facilites in the room. TV. Very efficient heating. Will definitely stay again next time we visit our family.

Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone sightseeing or walking in this lovely part of Sussex. It was very clean with comfortable beds and the staff were extremely kind and friendly. Great to be able to eat there in the evening after a hard day's walking and our evening meal and breakfast were very good. Extremely good value... More

Basic, clean accommodation. Well presented food reasonably priced. Lovely friendly staff. Free off road parking, (we had garage/car port space). Lots of field walks, hilly terrain, loads of friendly sheep and eventually we found the sea!!!!! Great place to get away from it all n chill.

So I stayed here for two nights, a Friday night and a Saturday night. I had a room to myself, so too did my Dad and Brother/Nephew. My Brother decided to take his son at last minute, so about two days before we notified the staff. They were very accommodating and without any issue just got a cot into the... More
