I stayed here with a friend for a two night break I'd bought off Groupon. The hotel its self is full of character. The room was ample in size, clean and the bed was very comfy. It was lovely to return to a warm cosy room after being out all day seeing the sights in the bitter cold. My only... More

Was a little dubious when we arrived and had to hunt around the pace to find someone after standing and waiting for ten minutes, however the lady who did deal was us was lovely! I think she worked every hour God sent as she always seemed to be there when we were around; saying that, she definitely made us smile... More

Went for a meal on Valentine's weekend and ordered off of the main menu. The food although freshly cooked was not up to the standard expected for the price charged. The sauce with the steak was a strange taste and the steak itself seemed not to have been cooked on a proper chargrill. The sea bass charged at £14 was... More

Our room was large and recently decorated, it was what looked an old barn. Room above and restaurant below. I would have said it was almost an apartment with the amount of space. However Mum and Dad had a room in the main building with access via a tower like stairway which was unfortunately very damp and decrepit looking. The... More

Surprised only because I had read some negative reviews, but we ended up very pleased with our visit, despite having to leave 1 night early due to family emergency, was very successful and restful. Despite heavy rain, and gorgeous snow!! We were on a special offer and had added an extra night hoping the negative reviews were wrong. They were.... More

We had a fantastic two night stay at Brynafon. The room was a good size, very clean, and comfortable with all the amenities you could hope for, only missing a working shower, but the bath was great. Breakfasts were included and were well cooked and the serving staff were friendly. You definitely need to head away from the town of... More

I have just stayed at the Brynafon hotel and read some of the reviews so wasn't expecting too much. What a wonderful surprise, the room was immaculate, the hotel was lovely. The room was spacious and the decoration tasteful. Plenty of hot water lovely and warm. Staff were nothing but accommodating and friendly. I ate at the hotel the food... More

Booked via email receiving a prompt response and booking confirmation as well as telephonic reply. My wife and three year old daughter were with on a Groupon voucher. Child friendly and free for under 6 year olds which I can't fault. Upon arrival we were greeted and offered assistance with our luggage if required and given the keys to our... More

Stayed for two nights and after reading some reviews was a little worried about what the place would be like. We really enjoyed our stay, two nights B&B with Afternoon Tea. The breakfast was very nice, ample portions which set you up for the day, the tea was lovely with home made cakes. The room was clean, and yes some... More
