Stayed here for 10 days. Mel the manageress was adorable (and the rest of the staff were as well). Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Bar staff were warm and friendly and the Inn was a delight to relax in.

This was a last minute booking after we were let down by the Crown Inn (directly opposite) who double booked us and only let us know the day before we were travelling. 'The Lamb and Flag' turned out to be a much better option. The ambiance in the inn is excellent, the rooms large, light and tastefully decorated, as is... More

After a very cold 10 mile run in late November, I was looking for a place to have a well earned pint and traditional pub lunch. The Lamb & Flag was the perfect place. The staff were very friendly and the lamb & red wine pie was out of this world. Add to this a roaring log fire - the... More

Visited this pub whilst staying in Rhayader for a few days, pub food was good in both quantity, quality and price with friendly staff and cask ales. You have a choice of 9 pubs in this village and although modern inside the bars ,it is worth a visit. The local pubs do not really compete with each other as they... More

Just stayed for one night. the bed in room 1 is the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The room was basic but clean. Do not forget this is a pub and below your bedroom window are tables which fill up with drunken groups shouting and screaming until past midnight. Just time for a couple of hours sleep before...
