Lovely people, lovely views, lovely breakfast, lovely rooms - warm, clean and comfortable. We've stopped at other places in Rhayader & this is by far our favourite. Can't fault a single thing & will be aiming to stay here again in future.

Fantastic spot, incredibly warm welcome and a very short walk to a multitude of pubs and restaurants. Comfortable, warm rooms, plenty of space and a lovely lounge to relax and watch tv in. Unlimited tea and coffee and a breakfast with plenty of choice that went down a treat. We were mountain biking the Trans Cambrian way and secure bike... More

We had a very comfortable, relaxing stay at Brynteg. We were made to feel very welcome, the accomodation was very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, eggs from their own hens and home made preserves, lovely. The hosts gave us a lot of useful information about the local area, which is absolutely beautiful, great walking territory.

Just back from our second stay at Brynteg which is an excellent base when taking part in the Bear Bones 200 mountainbike event. As last year, very friendly and helpful hosts (nothing was too much trouble),secure storage for the bike, a comfy en-suite room, cracking good breakfasts and bought some jars of their very fine homemade jam and marmalade to... I was cycling north, and found this B&B to be one of the better one I stayed in. It had undercover bike parking in the garage. The room was a little small but for one night was very comfortable and warm with en suit. The eggs for breakfast come from their own chickens and with the homemade jams was a... More

We were staying in Rhayader to celebrate a friends wedding, and many of us were looking for accomodation. We found Brynteg a lovely B and B in Rhayader, easy to find and close to everything. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Warm welcome from our hosts who had lots of local information to share. Breakfast from local producers with eggs... More

Just returned from a one night stay at Brynteg. We were in the area for a friend's wedding. We had excellent service from start to finish from the two owners. They were friendly and interested about our stay. They gave us help with directions and taxis and generally were fabulous! The rooms were lovely and extremely clean. They contained everything... Centrally located terraced house offering comparatively small but extremely clean accommodation...if you want a bath it will be private but not en suite. TV is in the lounge, hospitality trays in room and lounge, good mattress and fine linen, plus lots of thick towels. B/fast was excellent, and some of the best decaff coffee around. For the rest the reviews... More

Unpretentious B&B with everything covered, good beds with cotton bedding and very bearable breakfast, pleasant knowledgeable owners who are living the good life. If I was being picky I would prefer mugs to cups and saucers in the room, and some decaf coffee in the room instead of just regular would have been helpful. Good job I took my own.... More

I recently stayed at the Brynteg with my husband, mum, mother in law and father in law. When we arrived after a very long and tiring journey we were greeted with a cheery welcome by Adrian & Mandy the owners of Brynteg. We were asked if we needed any help bringing in our luggage and taking the cases up to... More
