We have stayed here before and chose it to celebrate a special birthday. The location is 5 minutes from the ferry terminal but is a world away in a countryside setting. The staff are efficient and helpful. We had 2 rooms - one in the main house with a four poster bed and another in the block above the spa.... More

My boyfriend and I booked the Living Social glamping deal, and opted to stay in a tipi. Overall I'd recommend it - we had a fun time and staying in a tipi is pretty novel! The tipi is as described, nicely furnished although as other reviewers have noted, the floor is damp. Having said that - there's a hole in... More

We opted for the tipi on a special weekend break deal and it was surprisingly good. The tipi had a Queens sized bed and electric blanket in it so we were hardly roughing it - a nice contrast to the weekend beforehand when we had camped properly. The hotel has a great restaurant, an ok bar (no draught beer but... More

Mr C and I have been here a few times and we love it. There is something magical about the estate - possible its romantic medieval connections, but as soon as you drive onto the gravel forecourt, you start to unwind. Great food, amazing rooms with 4 poster beds and intimate spa facilities mean you can concentrate on relaxing. The... More

Have visited Wallets a few times and have always had a great time. Superb room, four poster bed with great view towards the Saxon church. Black Prince room we had. Abi and her team were amazing. Very helpful , understanding could not do enough for us. We had a great price and everything was perfect. For us the best bit... More

We like Walletts Court having eaten there on 2 previous occasions. This was our first stay. We were in the Granary room in an outbuilding adjacent to the main hotel. Our room was light ,,well equipped and quiet. The restaurant is always good and this visit was no exception. In fact,it was a Good Food guide report that sent us... More

Receptionist who also did the 'spa treatment' then served a cold breakfast. Understaffed, no forward thought hardly a spa treatment centre. Broken spa, unclean surfaces. Children running wild, no piece and quite, the one shower shared with the camping site. Terrible experience, will not be returning.

Just back after 2 mid-week nights at Wallett's Court. The whole village of St Magaret's-at-cliff is probably Britain's best kept secret- picture postcard perfect with it's little beach in a bay sandwiched between the giant white cliffs (of Dover). First impressions- you're blown away by the charm & elegance of the place. The magnificent gardens, the various little buildings, huts,... More

we have stayed at this hotel for short breaks and holidays for approx twelve years and have always experienced excellent service and quality with everything until our stay during the first week of august. I have been patiently waiting for a letter or phone call of apology for the problems we experienced but to no avail, hence i am having... More

We visited Wallet's Court for a Afternoon Champagne Tea, and we were charmed by the building which is steeped in history and they have a beautiful, original Tudor staircase which leads to 3 luxury bedrooms boasting 4 poster beds and intriguing names on the doors..i.e. The Black Prince Room; and Queen Eleanor Room. The hotel has a delightful little restaurant,... More
