Great place, off the beaten track, nice rooms great staff, very friendly. Rooms are modern and well equIpped , the restaurant is small but seating was comfortable, we all had a very enjoyable meal, steak, fish etc, the pricing was just right in our opinion and breakfast was an unhurried affair and again met our expectations . The true test... More

We have recently returned from a weekend at The White Cliffs Hotel in St. Margret’s at Cliffe. We chose this hotel because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. The hotel and grounds are exquisite. The staff are polite and professional. We booked a table in the hotel restaurant for Saturday night. The ambience for dining is ideal... More

Only stayed 1 night but was superb. Very friendly greeting on arrival, straight forward check in before being led to our room. The room itself was excellent, booked the four poster room, lovely bed and room, good views onto garden and church. Well appointed room. Excellent restaurant serving locally sourced food and drink with a good selection on the menu... More

Stayed overnight in this hotel whilst visiting Dover. We stayed in the 'mews' which were lovely and seemed to have been recently decorated - very bright, clean and comfortable. The bar was welcoming (including a wood burner, which was not alight but would be an added bonus on a cold evening) and we received a friendly welcome on arrival. We... More

Spent a long weekend here on a walk weekender stay with 10 friends who also stayed at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were unbelievably good. We also has a substantial packed lunch as part of the weekend walker's package which contained a choice of salmon or ham or cheese. Im sure we could have asked for different fillings but why... Stayed this weekend at the White Cliffs Hotel for a walking weekend with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but the best part of the stay was the food! Which was amazing. Ok room slightly dated but clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our family and... More

Nice place for a short break. Well situated in the village and a nice walk down to the bay and along the cliffs. Hotel is a bit tired around the edges but comfortable/good friendly atmosphere and the food is good but limited choices of desserts and a good bar snacks (loved the chorizo/fried bread). Couple of issues, but didn't detract... More

Thanks ever so much for your feedback and your helpful plumbing tips too. As a kid I grew up at Wallett's Court (our other hotel just up the road) now, that place had issues! Plumbing issues! Wallett's Court is a Jacobean manor that my folks rescued from dereliction, when I first lived there aged around 7 years old at the... More

This was a great short stay for visiting the white cliffs which are a short drive away. Stylish decor. Rooms in adjoining buildings with easy access to main hotel. Extra car parking behind the hotel. Lovely bar area with great snacks and a restaurant adjoining it. Food was nothing special and service was slow considering the restaurant was rather empty... More

We stayed here over easter holiday for three days we complained that the room was very noisy and COLD. They said they were full and could not move us so I thought fine we will have another night of no sleep fortunately my son who we were visiting got another hotel for us. The room had broken light fittings and... More

Crikey, it looks like we really upset someone here. As you can see from all the other happy reviews this isn't how we roll… The place is fully centrally heated and every room has radiators with thermostatic valves so every guest can control the temperature in their own rooms. On checking these guests in I did point this out as... More

As a last minute idea we booked for a Saturday night. We had a great time - the hotel staff were very warm, friendly and attentive, the food great and our room was clean and very comfy. We loved it so much that we are going back in 2 weeks!
