Convenient location for the Eurostar or ferry to France. We stayed here two years ago. We had a room in the mews which was quiet and comfortable, we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and had a good experience. We stayed again a week ago and had an executive room, which was spacious but with very poor sound proofing... More

Stayed here on way back from France. So easy to find. Just minutes from the ferry. Food was great, room was lovely, food was fantastic. Loved the continental breakfast option so you didn't feel the need to 'get your money's worth' by having the cooked option. Staff really friendly. Will definitely recommend. Really, really good value - especially with three... More

My daughter had booked us into this very pleasant hotel for an overnight stay while we visted Dover Castle. We were both pleasantly surprised on checking in on arrival from Southampton. A cosy bar just behind reception and friendly smiley staff. Check in was efficient and quick. I had opted for a room in the annex, while my daughter took... More

I booked my dad and I in for 1 night as we were visiting Dover castle while my father reminded himself of his old soldier days. What a wonderful hotel! The rooms were clean beautifully presented and the staff.... Well could not do enough for you! The bar area was lovely and if you fancy treating yourself try their Kent... More

We had three nights here in the four poster room great size bedroom overlooking the beer garden. Ideal location for visiting the castles at Dover and Deal. Great restaurant menu fish and chips were fab.

Really nice bar area. Didn't eat in restaurant as full of families with kids. Found quiet area of the bar and the food was superb. Freshly cooked and delicious sole and sea bass. Very relaxed atmosphere, good staff and an enjoyable evening.

Stopped here as a one nighter on the way to France. Staff excellent, food superb. Only draw back no Air conditioning. the location is excellent with the beach only 2 minutes away by car. There is a local village shop which has just about anything

We arrived for a wedding a day early. This was not a problem as the staff sorted us out. Our room was fantastic and boasted a four poster bed. This hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the village, parking is ample front and back. There is a beautiful garden which is also used for dining. It is a... More

We stayed one night; a very friendly welcome which is rare when you have a dog! A copious cream tea; then an excellent meal in the evening. The crab starter was great (we shared one between us). My seabass was cooked to perfection with crispy skin on a samphire and cabbage base. My wife's mackerel dish was also beautifully cooked.... More

Room was very nice, but the bathroom was another matter, loose wallpaper above the shower and a very old chipped toilet seat, class! The staff(with the exception of John) had a very poor work ethic, customers appeared to be a bother to them. This place is utter shambles! Utter utter shambles.

The White Cliffs Hotel is a terrible choice of hotel if you are the type of person that loves shouting and swearing in public places. Booking a night at The White Cliffs Hotel would be an atrocious decision if you are the type of person that loves nothing better than spending the day elsewhere getting blind drunk or taking mind-bending...
