The Hazeldene isn't fancy or particularly modern, but it easily makes up for it in terms of friendly, accommodating and flexible hosts. Three of us were staying at the Hazeldene for a long charity bike ride in Selby, and as such we had some specific requirements. The owners at the Hazeldene were really accommodating and looked after our needs really... More

Stayed here for 1 night and it was lovely - everything you could wish for from a B&B and added extras such as bottle water. Breakfast was plentiful and with a variety of options. Staff were helpful and polite. Great advantage is they have a car park situated behind the property. Would stay again

When I rang the day before to book 2 nights at the Hazeldene I was told that there was only a standard single left. No en-suite and the nearest bathroom was a flight of stairs away. I still booked - at £27.00 per night it still seemed a real bargain. The room was spacious and very clean. There was a... More

This Guest house operates an Honesty Bar. With drinks at very reasonable prices. It is an easy walk to a big choice of restaurants. I... More

We stayed at the Hazledene Guest House for 2 nights and can't praise the staff enough. This is your typical Yorkshire friendly place to stay with great staff who were very friendly and helpful during our stay. We were offered on booking the option to have a 2 course meal for an additional £4.99. Wasn't expecting to get a great... More

Just a great place to stay... Was made very welcome. Room was very clean, comfy and good car parking. I had to be out early so missed breakfast, but they still made a great cup of coffee and offered toast and cereal. I will be back,
