Just returned from a relaxing two night stay at the Bayview, our favourite hotel in NI. As always the service and food were excellent and the view from our room over the sea was stunning. Rooms are a good size with lovely balconies where you can sit and watch the world go by over a glass or two and staff... More

My wife and I AGAIN spent a night in the Bay VIEW for my birthday - 9th April. I had previously been slightly apprehensive as hotels seem to change their standards and one can be disappointed on a revisit. Thankfully we were not disappointed and the Bay VIEW continues ( in our opinion ) to be the best accommodation in... More

Just come back from a memorable stay at the Bayview...what a treat to wake up listening to the waves on the beach....our room had a stunning view of the sea. Portballentrae is so sleepy and unspoilt ...we really had a chill. Our room was very clean and comfortable and a good size. There was a relaxing atmosphere and ambience.......can't wait... More

We chose this hotel for its views across the sea and we weren't disappointed. The room was immaculate and spacious with a terrace overlooking the bay. The location is fabulous. A five-minute stroll through Portballintrae brings another, wilder sandy beach. You can walk to the Giant's Causeway in around 30 minutes, or if you go for the more ambitious/rewarding cliff-top... My husband and I stayed 2 nights the last week of March 2014 and WOW. The weather was beautiful, sunny and dry, and we were booked in a room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Worth the extra cost for the balcony. The bed was the most comfortable of all of the hotels we visited. The room was spacious, the bathroom clean.... More

Portballintrae must be the town that time forgot! While we visited in March 2014 there was no-one there! There is no shop, no postbox just rows and rows of empty holiday homes. Luckily we were looking for a quiet night so that was great. We'd spent the day looking at the local attractions and got to the hotel about 4ish.... More

Dear Shug17, thank you for composing a review on TA about your experience at Bayview. Portballintrae is a fantastic little village, a Post box is located just 200m from the hotel and the local shop is just around the corner, situated at the west car park over looking the beautiful small beach. Portballintrae is only 2 minutes from Bushmills village... More

Stayed at the Bayview on Sunday last. It is years since I last stayed in it. I can only say it is a lovely hotel. Absolutely immaculate, lovely furnishings, spacious room, great food, friendly staff and a wonderful sea view. What more could one want!? I thought it was excellent value for money. We had booked bed and breakfast and... More

My husband and I stayed in the Bayview Hotel as the first few days of our Mini-Honeymoon. Booked through their own website as part of a package - Bushmills Experience. Such fantastic value for money that we opted to upgrade to a superior room. Deal included two nights B&B and one evening meal and the tickets for the Bushmills Distillery.... More

Just back from our spring break with family and as always, staff, restaurant and rooms were excellent. We are always welcomed with a smile and friendly chat and service is always top notch. We come twice a year for a few days and enjoy the food and the craic.
