Have visited The Bayview many times but this was the first time staying as a guest. The location is excellent, The bedrooms and bathrooms are really clean. The breakfast quality and choice is good. Dinner choice is excellent and fairly priced. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely be back soon.

Stayed here both as a family and as a couple. Great chill out hotel with views over the bay. Family room well equipped and as couple we stayed in a beautiful suite which included a raised seating area at the bay window overlooking the sea and a great bathroom with Jacuzzi. Def a great hotel for a chillout or romantic... More

I stayed here about 10 years ago for several nights and ground it to be a lovely hotel. For a most recent golf trip to Ireland, I stayed here again remembering the wonderful experience. This time though for only one night. Unfortunately I did not have a room with a view of the ocean. If staying longer, I will have... More

Booked superior rooms at the Bayview for a couple nights break. Hotel is situated on the bay, and our first floor room provided excellent views across the bay. The room was well furnished and whilst we were above the bar/restaurant area where we could hear the evenings entertainment, it provided a comfortable night sleep. Staff were very friendly and providing... More

Dear Guest, thank you for taking time to compose a positive review on TA about your experience at Bayview, we are pleased that you enjoyed the wonderful views from the restaurant and rooms. We stayed at the bayview for just one night, unplanned as we got caught out in the rain(supposed to be camping). The manager Trevor went out of his way to make sure we had a room and were comfortable - we can't thanks him enough. All of the staff were warm and friendly and the hotel itself has spectacular views... More

We only stayed one night in this hotel after playing golf at Royal Portrush and it was the most marvelous experience. From the moment that we arrived it was an excellent experience. Trevor and his staff could not have been friendlier and welcoming. The views were fabulous and the food second to none. After dinner there was a live singer/guitarist... More

Booked for 7.45 ...not served until 8.30. Food acceptable, but £11 for burger and chips, and I mean burger and chips not acceptable Nice view got extra star. I am only rating the restaurant. Not the hotel as we did not stay there. Waiting staff looked under pressure. Perhaps they should increase their staff numbers.

We last stayed in the The Bayview Hotel in November 1991 - our first short break after getting married on 24 July that year. On that occasion it was homely but a little tired and in need of refurbishment so we decided to visit again for our 23rd Wedding Anniversary, staying overnight from 23-24 July. We booked in at the...
