We were really happy with the room, we were told when we booked we couldn't upgrade however on arrival we had a seaview & the room was clean & comfortable. All the staff we came across were very polite & helpful. The choice of food at breakfast was good & probably the hottest buffet I've ever encountered at a hotel.... more

We took off for one night at short notice. We were absolutely thrilled with our choice in Ravens Hall and have every intention of returning whenever we want a quiet getaway. To get the minus's out of the way, yes, the decor is dated in places, but in other areas more recently attended to they have done a superb job,... more

we took advantage of the £99.00 DB&B deal for 2 nights, and was the best 2 nights away anyone could wish for, the views and grounds are fantastic, the rooms are lovely, and tastefully decorated. The service was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble, and staff very helpful, we took advantage of the pool which isnt overly big, but its more... more

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the studio lodges of the hotel. These had an absolutely fantastic view of Robin Hoods Bay which it would be hard to top. The location of this hotel is fabulous if you're looking for peace and quiet. The lodges are very modern, comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and warm. Guests in this... more

Although appearing in part like an old fashioned gentleman's club, it was not at all stuffy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with the possible exception of the Maitre d. They were kind enough to provide adjacent rooms for my self and my wife, and our 12 year old daughter. Our room was a very large double, and... more

Stayed just one night in a Moors Lodge and was really impressed. The lodges are new and modern with energy saving lighting and heating. The views are great. Had dinner in the restaurant and this was fabulous with the staff reaching a level of efficiency I've not seen in a long time. more

I went with my family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) for one night. The setting is spectacular with views to match. However, the rooms are very tired in terms of decor, the gym looked OK (didn't try it), the swimming pool is more of a large bath than a pool and the golf course benefits from stunning views that help to... more

We managed to stay a night using Laterooms. We were a bit apprenhensive reading some bad review, but we were very happy staying at the hotel. I don't think you are automatically given small rooms when booking with Laterooms.com. I suppose I understand when the hotel has no more room available and you get a bargain price for a room... more

We have stayed at Raven Hall Hotel many times and love it. We decided this time though - due to a fantastic offer to stay in one of the lodges. What a great decision!! We stayed in one of the studio lodges. The whole experience was brilliant. The lodge has an open plan kitchen / sitting room and bed room.... more
