Vandieres is a quiet little town along national highway N57, and the Auberge only re-opens at 5pm when the bar gets a bit of business from the locals. They offered me a "package price" of Euro42 for supper, a single room, and petit dejeuner. (Good idea, because the only other restaurant in town is a pizza place.)
