We stayed in La Bastide des Magnans : 10 -13 June 2014. The location is perfect the views are beautiful. But not good value for money : The breakfasts were poor. Not really continental. Fruits were left over from the day before. Lots of bread. No cheese or cold meat. The rooms are nice and spacious but the bath is... More

TA Certificate of Excellence? Really? I didn't experience it. Perhaps Le Madam was tired after a busy summer. The place is picturesque, down a small road and off through the field, and the room was well decorated. There was a kitchen for the use of guests. However the proprietor behaved as if we were a nuisance. Breakfast consisted of stale... More

We stayed for one night only, and hadn't we other obligations, we would have loved to stay much longer! Myriam, our host, was very accommodating with our booking, with our early departure (breakfast served at 8am), and she shared her love of the Luberon and the bastide her husband and she tastefully renovated and refurbished. Great view from the room... More

This is where you come to when you want tranquility, serenity and the effortless charm and elegance of Mme. Guisset. Our room was large, with a panoramic view. Afternoons were by the pool with the scent of fig trees and only butterflies and the odd wasp for company. We have been coming to Provence for the last 22 years, and I... More

This is an absolutely wonder B&B to stay in the Luberon, in every way. The house is charming, the rooms very comfortable, the view is magnificent and the host is charming and caring,. I spent two weeks at this wonderful place, after moving from another so-called B&B in Lourmarin that lacked everything that this one possesses. The location of the... More

With the Mont Ventoux ("The Giant of Provence") in the background and the loveliest Luberon landscape all around, this B&B is pure charm. The landowners, Mr. and Mrs. Guisset are most welcoming. Mrs has kept the taste for elegance that most Italians naturally enjoy, thanks to her Emilian/Marchigian roots (Pesaro Province). The restructuring of this lovely 19th century mansion has... More

2 stayed for 2 nights. Excellent place with superb views. Friendly and warm service. Comfortable rooms. Relaxing environment. Breakfast is ok. Great location to visit the Luberon. We will come back, for sure.

This place is a jem. Just outside of Lacoste (no train station!) in a beautiful countryside, this house is a beautifully authentically restored domaine with every corner worth a picture, even the staircase, seriously. The pool is worth gold during hot sunny days. It is located about 1km outside town, which makes it easy access on bikes or car. Lacoste... More

My mum and I have just spent 3 wonderful nights at the Bastide. Myriam who is our hostess, was truly lovely and kind. She welcomed us like old friends and gave us much advise on the area over drinks after settling us down. The Bastide was lovely to come home to each day after our days out in the Luberon.... More
