Just back from a wonderful few days at Coill Dara. Over the moon with our room, beautiful views, immaculate and luxurious feel. Patricia is amazing as were the rest of her family at making us feel so tremendously welcome. A great spot to travel out to so many beautiful places no further than half an hour really. This B+B is... More

We were driving through late night trying to find a quick place to stay and found a quaint town, went down a random road and pulled into their driveway without warning. This was way back in May but I remember the owner (and husband) were so friendly and fun to hang out with, it was just the 4 of us... More

We stayed for one night(Friday 8th of November) but I wish it was more! Although we arrived late on the evening we were welcomed by Patricia, who offered us a lovely cake in the sun lounge/room. We were told of the options for our breakfast next morning and there was a great choice on the menu. The main problem is... More

We stayed in Coill Dara with our little daughter for just one night and it was a very memorable stay. Patricia gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived and treated us to tea and cake in the sun room. During our short stay she made sure that we had everything we needed and helped us orientate ourselves for... More

We stayed for a few nights and there was 7 of us. We were stunned by the accomodation and the hospitality. Patricia and her family and staff were lovely and very friendly. This part of Ireland is stunning and still undersold so visit before it becomes a hotspot. The property is a one off and is far better than the... More

Only 15 minutes from Knock airport, this B&B is not only excellent but convenient. Our host Patricia was very keen to please. Tea and coffee cake on arrival. Room very clean. Breakfast wonderful - lots of choice if for some reason you didn't want the full Irish. The house itself is lovely - spacious and grand. A lounge and beautiful... More

We've enjoyed many B&B's in Ireland over the years. Coill Dara is absolutely the best one we have ever stayed in. Patricia is a wonderful hostess. The sun room offers great views of the Ox Mountains in the distance.

This is what one dreams of for a B&B. All reviewers are correct, this is so wonderful you willl not want to leave. Newer house but reminds you of a manor house. A little out of town so very quite. Rooms are upstairs and ensuite. Beds are like jumping into a cloud. All is modern and very clean. Rooms are... More

There is no need for further comment as previous reviewers say it all. The only problem for my group was that we only stopped one night . None of us wanted to leave after our marvellous breakfast, so thank you very much Patricia and Roger for your hospitality and for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home.
