What's not to love about a beautiful house surrounded by unspoilt land, amazing hospitality, fresh air and a local pub where the barman actually takes the time to have a chat with you? A wonderful experience from start to finish, I'd go as far to say that our room was the cleanest guest room we've ever stayed in! Everything from... More

This is an amazingly beautiful b & b, with elegant decore to match. Patricia made us feel well at home with cake, tea and coffee on our arrival. The room was spacious overlooking the magnificent gardens and countryside. We were directed to some great eating options in the nearby town. Breakfast was outstanding, with a variety of delicious choices. My... More

We didn't really believe the great reviews Coill Dara has received until we experienced Patricia's hospitality for ourselves. Her attention to detail is amazing. The beds are very comfortable. All the rooms in the house are spacious and airy. We were greeted by tea /coffee and cake and biscuits on arrival but these facilities were available to us all during... More

My father and I are staying at this excellent B & B. From the moment you sweep up the driveway of this very fine house, to the lovely warm welcome by Patricia, the very spacious hall and great rooms, you immediately feel you've come to the best place to stay! Am awaiting and very much looking forward to breakfast just... More

This B&B is truly stunning. The house is amazing!! Patricia the owner is so very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with home made coffee cake and a cup of tea or coffee. The breakfast was filling hearty and there was so much of it. The room itself was so clean modern and comfortable. We had the family room which... More

If you are looking for luxury personified, without the 5 star hotel frippery, this is the place for you - and NOT expensive. Our daughter and her family stayed at Coill Dara in 2013 and insisted that we go there, even though Tubbercurry was not on our itinerary. We were so glad that we did go there, because you will... We arrived without a reservation after a long day's drive and were pleased to find this spectacular B&B. Patricia greeted us and showed us her incredible house, gave us her price up front, which was more than average but considering the house, the grounds and the wonderful beds and baths, we decided to treat ourselves. We were extremely pleased with... More

Coill Dara is a beautiful house and Patricia is an excellent host. It's truly dog friendly, ie your dog can stay in the room, which isn't easy to find in Ireland. We had a lovely twin room with views of the hills. The beds were really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The house is on a farm... More

Staying here is an experience not a b & b . From the moment Patricia greets you , you feel cosseted and a most special guest . We're touring on our bicycles so washing isn't easy . In an hour it was washed and dried and back to us . Being greeted by limitless tea and a dozen home made... More

This is the most luxurious and elegant B&B in Ireland. Tubbercurry was not on my itinerary but after 6 hours in the car I followed a B&B sign when I had had enough. I lucked out as I came upon Coill Dara House. The house is a mansion with a wonderful conservatory. Patricia welcomed me with tea and a wonderful... More
