just returned from this nice hotel but stay was let down by very unfriendly French barman who was very rude, closed the bar early on a Saturday night and turned all of the lights off when there was a group of people still sitting in there. I have never felt so unwelcome in any hotel I have ever stayed in.... More

We are really surprised by your comments; shocked even. We are a hotel, professional group, and we have solid experience and knowledge to organize seminaries, events, sports groups,,, About your stay, our staff was very helpful, as usual, we kept the bar open Saturday till 1h00 am, result : -Unbearable noise in all the hotel grounds, -Folding of the other... I stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 64 people comprising of a mix of adults and children. The hotel manager and many of the staff were rude and made it clear that we were not welcome. We had 2 teams of junior rugby teams who were taking part in a rugby tour. The boys were very well... More

Hi, I stayed at La Lagune for 4 nights starting from the 19th April 2015. The food was good and the option to have all drinks included for a small additional charge was very generous. However, my room, number 12, was very average and my bed had a rubber / plastic sheet over the mattress, making it sweaty and uncomfortable.... More

Booked a four night stay on a room only basis in August 2014. Unfortunately our Family room had a view of car park and hills. Room was large with separate bunk bed for our son. When we booked this hotel we did not realise how far away from the harbour and restaurants - 40-50 minute walk. All the food served... More

Pluses: directly on the beach, big swimming pools, friendly staff, perfect for families. Minuses: You'll need a car if you want to get anywhere (e.g. to the restaurant strip at the Saint Cyprien port) since there's not much on its side of the lagune aside from residential, decor and general look'n'feel looks a bit dated. If you're travelling with kids,... More

We spent our summer holiday at Hotel La Lagune, mid July. This is the 3rd time when we went there, mainly for the beach, just one step away from the hotel. The beach is very large, is clean, not crowded, without stones, and the water pace is not dangerous for children's. Not to forget also that from the rooms located... More

We are used to the luxury of the Caribbean all inclusive hotels and this place doesn't measure up. Having said it proved to be an acceptable base for our trip. We have stayed at this hotel with out 3 daughters and another family of friends. Our friends traveled with their 4 year old son. We have stayed in a family... More

We had the chance to stay at the Hotel la lagune in mid-July and loved our experience. The hotel is located right on the beach with two pools. We had booked a family room and it was big enough for our famiy of four. We really enjoyed dining outside right on the beach. The buffet is really good and change... More

Booked at very short notice. It would not have been the hotel of my choice but was above average for its category reflecting that it is part of a family owned group. I do not like buffet dinners which by and large looking better than they are. This one is an exception - food excellent. Not having a car is... More

This is a very average hotel with a good location. Very close to the beach, but far from any other stores, restaurants, etc. The rooms were large, but outdated and the bathrooms are very small. We were disppointed we were not able to get a room facing the sea or the lagoon, but rather the parking lot. We did not... More
