Overpriced for no reason. Rooms are small. I booked deluxe room. Nothing deluxe about. Toilet is small and separated from the shower room. I found it amusing. Restaurant here is very good and breakfast is lavish for extra €22. Service in the restaurant is outstanding. That is all.

The pictures advertised on booking.com are not representative of the actual rooms. In reality, the hotel is not on its own private island – there are many other buildings and houses, and it is not as ‘on the water’ as it makes out. The staff were friendly and helpful – Pauline in particular, in sourcing an iron and ironing board... More

We stayed last Saturday night, three night break booked through bookings.com and meant to be a relaxing treat. On arrival impressive and lovely room but then it all went wrong. The spa facilities were unusable and they didn't inform us. We went to the roof top pool and it was cold, not 37 degrees as advertised and promised by the... More

This hotel claims to be a 5 star but personally I would say nearer 3/4 star. The facilities lacked their 5 star rating. I found the room to be hit and miss in its decor, although understandably a matter of personal taste. And in places it looked shabby. The shower door was not a good fit and therefore the bathroom... because this is a small more boutique style hotel it has retained the personal touch and i was very impressed with how friendly and helpful all the staff were. Given its rating it is also reasonable value though not cheap. The L'Almandin Restaurant is outstanding both in general quality of food, service and value but thats another review. it does... More

I stayed here for a week in July with my husband and two children, aged 10 and 7 years. We had a very enjoyable week. We had booked a suite and were pleasantly surprised at the generous size of the room. The children slept on a couch bed which was in a siting room separated from the main bedroom by... More

The hotel lives up to its 5 star billing. Stylishly decorated with views over the laguna and sea, the rooms are spacious and tasteful. But the high point is the cuisine of the michelin star chef, Philippe Galindo. To give you a taster: Stuffed artichokes with shrimps and risotto followed by roasted quail in a mandarine sauce and pine nuts... More

We had booked the hotel for a one night stay on our trip from Spain to countries further north. We liked it so much that we immediately booked also a night for our return trip to Spain (2 weeks later). We liked the environment and design of the whole lagune very much. The room was comfortable, the welcome /reception very... More

Prior to arriving, I was contacted to check reservation was correct (2 rooms, one for 2 adults and 2 children and the other for 1 adult), so I was very surprised when I checked in to find that there was now an error and there were 2 rooms for a total of 3 adults. I was told I would need... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend and had a friend meet us after the first night. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms are all very good, with comfortable beds and soft deep pillows. Maybe a couple of finishing touches need to be addressed such as some sort of blind on the bathroom window... More
