This beautifully converted old school was designed with space, light and comfort in mind. Neutral tones combined with some innovative architecture created an appealing factor unique for a hotel. Rooms were spaceous, comfortable and came with all the expected amenities and facilities. Bathrooms in comparison were on the small side although this seems to be a common denominator with most... The architecture of Hotel Cenacolo utilizes stone, steel, and glass, creating a structure with clean lines and simple décor, in keeping with its Franciscan history. Our room had neutral colors and a view of the lovely courtyard, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. Our dinner at the hotel... More

We stayed here one night during a recent tour of Italy. The hotel is very modern and minimalist, which was fine with us. The bathroom was small but nice in that it had a walk-in shower. We were disappointed in the evening meal provided as part of the tour. Not particularly tasty.

Only there one night, but would happily stay longer. Updated modern hotel but touches of the classic building it once was. Beautiful chapel with sculptured walls and gorgeous stained glass. Great bar with friendly staff. Restaurant was okay. Beautiful courtyard and walking distance to trails for jogging, biking or walking. Beautiful scenery.

We stayed here for one night during a recent trip to Assisi. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Modern decor, almost minimalist. As stated by a previous reviewer the front desk can control the air conditioning. We too had to call the desk to have it "activated". The room had one of the best bathrooms we encountered... More

Near Assisi. Converted convent, modern design. Clean, good service, modern amenities-a/c, WiFi, breakfast include, pleasant, outdoor garden in courtyard. Well priced. Near a great small village, with good dinner options.

This hotel, a converted convent, is very modern to the point that everything can be controlled by the front desk. When we got there the air conditioning was not working in our room and some of our traveling companions' rooms. The woman at the desk was rather cool when we let her know. However, all she did was click a... More

We stayed at this hotel as a part of a tour with students. It is close to Assisi which is why we stayed here. The hotel is in front of a monastery. It also is very easy to hear talking and noises. Guests complained to the front desk for kids just normal talking in the hallway. Despite the noise situation... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour. It is conveniently located near the old town and basilica. Check in was fast and problem free. Wifi was expensive, $5 euros and fiddly as you need to continually log in with a complicated password. Breakfast was good. Dinner basic and very much much tourist class. As we know how... More

Hotel is in a good location for visiting the Basilica. However, it was not my favorite hotel of our trip to Italy. Very modern hotel -- room décor is "minimalist." Without décor. So plain, I felt like I was in a cell. Hotel lobby nice, but breakfast/dinner area acoustics made conversations difficult. Very LOUD. As for the staff, the two... More
